The featured image is of [player_tooltip player_id='486525' first='Elle' last='Jo Johnson'] (2026) of North Posey High School.

Sunday, August 28th, Prep Girls Hoops Indiana hosted its first-ever Freshman Showcase. The event, which took place at Fishers High School, included exactly 100 registered participants, all from the 2026 class. I have already highlighted a handful of standouts in a couple of previous articles, but I also wanted to take the time to circle back and discuss many of the other girls who participated in the showcase. Also, once again, I want to thank all of the players, parents, and support staff who made this event a success!

TEAM 3:
#32 - [player_tooltip player_id='486535' first='Kenedi' last='Bradley'] - Chesterton H.S. - Kenedi is a nice athlete in all directions. She has nice length, a wiry-strong frame, and she moves effortlessly around the floor. She has a balanced skillset and can play either guard spot.

#44 - [player_tooltip player_id='486554' first='Jacobi' last='Warren'] - Carmel H.S. - Jacobi is a strong, physical, assertive forward. She's a solid athlete and has some length at her size. She can play a little around the perimeter or in the mid-post, and she will rebound her position.

#134 - [player_tooltip player_id='486498' first='Lani' last='Graves'] - Bloomfield H.S. - Lani is a versatile, inside-out forward with a fairly strong frame. She seems to have a good basketball IQ and showed some skill at all three levels. She should help Bloomfield immediately.

#393 - [player_tooltip player_id='486482' first='Allyson' last='McKinney'] - Sullivan H.S. - Allyson seemed to have a really nice motor, and she competed on each possession at both ends of the floor. She has a solid, balanced skillset, and she's a solid all-around athlete.

#397 - [player_tooltip player_id='486490' first='Kera' last='Dunham'] - North Vermillion H.S. - Kera is long and wiry, and she has an athletic frame as well. She moves well in most directions and plays with a motor. She was very steady and showed the skill to play either guard spot.

#424 - [player_tooltip player_id='486472' first='Reagin' last='White'] - Northview H.S. - I had seen Reagin before this event, and she has natural point guard instincts and a real craftiness to her game. She plays hard, she'll get after it defensively, and she shoots it consistently.

#427 - [player_tooltip player_id='486507' first='Hannah' last='Gin'] - Center Grove H.S. - Hannah has a strong frame for a point guard. She has some athleticism, nice length, and is a lefty, which is trickier to defend. She was steady with the ball and showed the ability to get downhill.

#429 - [player_tooltip player_id='486517' first='Paige' last='Burton'] - Bedford North Lawrence H.S. - Paige is very strong for her age/size. She has a solid, balanced skillset and can play either guard spot equally well. I had seen her before Sunday, and I just like how she competes.

#433 - [player_tooltip player_id='486544' first='Ciya' last='Mudaliar'] - South Bend Career Academy - Ciya is someone I was unfamiliar with, and she showed a nice craftiness in her offensive approach. She is quick/fast, long for her height, and even has a little feistiness to her game.

#434 - [player_tooltip player_id='486525' first='Elle' last='Jo Johnson'] - North Posey H.S. - Elle Jo was very good when I was able to see her. She has great length at her height, she has speed and quickness, and she seemed to shoot it well when I saw her. She might grow a little, too.

TEAM 4:
#31 - [player_tooltip player_id='486499' first='Leah' last='Norvell'] - University H.S. - Leah is a strong, physical, fairly athletic wing guard. She has nice length in her frame, and she used it well defensively. She handled it some, and she looks to be a downhill attacker first.

#103 - [player_tooltip player_id='486555' first='Lillian' last='George'] - Carroll H.S. (Fort Wayne) - Lillian is a good-sized, strong, and physical post prospect. She plays with a nice motor and is a solid frontline athlete. She has nice hands and solid footwork as well.

#136 - [player_tooltip player_id='486526' first='Marley' last='Dale'] - McCutcheon H.S. - Marley is a strong, physical kid who plays extremely hard. She is more of a low-block, traditional post right now, and she will defend and rebound with physicality and effort.

#383 - [player_tooltip player_id='486545' first='Kambria' last='Martin'] - South Bend St. Joseph H.S. - Kambria is a long, wiry wing guard with nice North/South speed. She was good out in the open floor, and she flashed some skill in the half-court. She also looks like she's still growing.

#389 - [player_tooltip player_id='403531' first='Brooke' last='Zartman'] - Warsaw Community H.S. - Brooke is a really nice combo guard who could contribute early at Warsaw. She has an athletic frame, she might still grow a little, plus she can handle, pass, shoot, and defend.

#406 - [player_tooltip player_id='486491' first='Cadence' last='Dunham'] - North Vermillion H.S. - Cadence is a really nice athlete with good length. She was aggressive to the basket like a slashing scorer, but I think she has enough ball skill to eventually be more of a combo guard in time.

#408 - [player_tooltip player_id='486483' first='Paiton' last='Mitchell'] - Castle H.S. - Paiton had a very good Spring & Summer, and she could contribute early for Castle. She has a veteran savvy to her game, good quickness, and she's a tough-nosed point guard. She also shoots it well outside.

#430 - [player_tooltip player_id='486536' first='Jelyza' last='Lapsley'] - Heritage Christian H.S. - Jelyza is small, but she's extremely quick/fast, she has good length at her height, and she's quick with the ball. She is crafty, but once she learns to change speeds, she'll be even more dangerous.

#453 - [player_tooltip player_id='486508' first='Mollie' last='Ernstes'] - Jennings County H.S. - Mollie is a really nice wing prospect. She has length, a wiry-strong frame, and she can run & jump. She is a playmaker, but as she lets the game come to her a little more, she'll be even more efficient.

#458 - [player_tooltip player_id='486473' first='Bailey' last='Hape'] - Evansville F.J. Reitz H.S. - see event eval here
