The class of 2025 rankings were released this week and we take a look at some players in the class of 2025.
Jim’Miyah Branton (SLAM! Miami / Miami Suns) – 5’7 PG
Current Ranking: 4
Position Ranking: 1
In a state full of athletes, Branton is in the upper tier. She is a crazy athlete who covers a ton of ground and is all over the court on both the offensive and defensive end of the court! She is a dynamic playmaker who pushes the tempo and attacks the rim aggressively. She scores baskets in bunches and is capable of leading an 8-0 run by herself. Defensively she moves well laterally and is an impact on ball defender who runs through passing lanes and creates offense from her defense.
Olivia Olson Olivia Olson 5'10" | SF Mainland | 2025 State FL (DME Academy / DME Travel) – 5’9 Guard
Current Ranking: 8
Position Ranking: 4
Olson is one of the top guards in the class of 2025 due to her excellent combination of size and skill. She is young and talented with a high basketball IQ. Olson utilizes her size to see over the top of defenses as well as shoot and score at the rim over the top of defenders. She holds down the # 8 ranking in the class of 2025.
Markeli Jones-Tynes Markeli Jones-Tynes 5'9" | PG Westminster Academy | 2025 State FL (Calvary Christian / FGB) – 5’10 PG

Position Ranking: 2
Markeli comes in at # 9 overall in the class of 2025. She is a high-level guard who has a great combination of skill and IQ. She doesn’t always need to score to play well. She is very unselfish and very much a team player that is willing to do little things to help team be successful. Her size, athleticism, and strength are all at an elite level and she is a big time prospect.
Jade Jones Jade Jones 5'11" | SF King's Academy | 2025 State FL (Kings Academy / Miami Suns Kiki 15U) – 5’11 Guard

Position Ranking: 5
Jones separates herself from some of the other members of the class of 2025 because of her passion and intensity. She has great size and strength and gets after it on the defensive side of the floor just as equally as she does on the offensive side. She is a steady and consistent performer who has a well-rounded overall skill set and does all the little things that help lead her team to victory.
Asya Lara Barnes Asya Lara Barnes 6'0" | SF DME Academy | 2025 State FL (DME Travel) – 6’0 Guard
Current Ranking: 13
Position Ranking: 6
Barnes is one of the classes most versatile player, capable of player all perimeter positions as well as the face up forward spot. She is a skilled lefty playmaker, who does a good job handling the ball under pressure, creating shots for her teammates off the dribble and knocking down open 3s. She is a high percentage shooter with a very efficient floor game. She plays with good energy, has a nice 3 point stroke and is extremely coachable.
Dianka Hardisson Dianka Hardisson 5'5" | PG Somerset Academy Silver Palms | 2025 State FL (Somerset Academy / Florida Lady Huskies) – 5’7 PG

Position Ranking: 3
Hardisson is one of the state’s top shooters regardless of class. She can play both the 1 and 2 position and is just as capable of a penetrator as she is an outside shooter. Hardisson can knock down 3s from all over the court whether in a catch and shoot situation as well as off the dribble. She plays with a ton of confidence and can shoot it from several feet beyond the 3 point arc. She comes in at # 16 overall in the class of 2025.
Sariah Johnson Sariah Johnson 5'9" | SF Dr.Phillips | 2025 State FL (J Sizzle 2025) – 5’9 Wing
Current Ranking: 22
Position Ranking: 9
Johnson has one of the most impressive builds in the class of 2025. She has strong and broad shoulders and is built like a power forward that can play the guard and wing spot. She uses her size, strength, and build to beat up on opposing players and attack the offensive and defensive glass. Johnson is a really good rebounder for a perimeter player and gets to the free throw line often by getting into the paint and drawing contact. She enters the top 25 in the class of 2025 at # 22 overall.
