Two of the area's Girls basketball champions squared off in prime match up in the 695Hoops fall league at Pikesville High. It's only fall league and neither team was at full strength, but it sure was an intense battle that had the sizeable crowd locked in. Poly held off a McDonogh rally to walk off with a 74-70 win. Here are the standout players...

[player_tooltip player_id='433873' first='Autumn' last='Fleary'], McDonogh, 2026, 5'5" Point Guard

Autumn exploded onto the high school scene with an amazing 35- point outburst in this one. The flashy guard showed off her advanced skill set and ability to score from all over the court right from the opening tip. More impressively she showed no fear as battled with more experienced opposition and more than held her own. In addition to scoring, Autumn strapped up on defense and kept her team in striking distance.

Dabrya Clark, Poly, 2023, 5'8" Shooting Guard

Dabrya played a tremendous overall game and poured in a team high 31 points. She came out of the gate on fire, knocking down pull up jumpers, three-pointers and getting to the rim. She set the tone for the team and came up with some big buckets down the stretch to hold off McDonogh's rally. When she is locked in she is a major problem.

[player_tooltip player_id='325340' first='Taylor' last='Addison'], Poly, 2023, 5'8" Combo Guard

Taylor turned in a strong performance. She kept the ball moving on offense, finding teammates for open shots and made some shots when needed. She finished with 11 points and set the tone defensively for her team. She picked up a D2 offer right on the spot as a reward for a solid outing.

[player_tooltip player_id='142834' first='Trinity' last='Massenburg'], Poly, 2023, 6'2" Power Forward

Trinity was her usual physical presence in the paint, crashing the boards and challenging every attempt at the basket. I was impressed with improved perimeter shooting as she is putting up shots with a lot of confidence, even out to the three-point line. Her game has grown. She finished with 12 points and 12 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='142846' first='Paris' last='Locke'], McDonogh, 2023, 5'11" Forward

Paris was doing a lot of things to impact the game on both ends of the court. She was a problem on the boards, especially on offense. She finished with 9 points and played well as a secondary ball handler.
