Fisher will look to have a big season this year for the Lady Red Foxes especially with the addition of Jasmine Frierson to the roster. Both ladies ran with Upward Stars 3SSB 2024 on the Adidas Grassroots Circuit this past season.
Fisher at times needs to finish better and more consistent around the basket. Tatiana will play with back to the basket and post up every time down the floor. She has no problems playing the game on contact.
Lyniah was one of the last kids to get in the camp and we are surely glad she made it up to the Grand Strand. She played GREAT all day long.
Kitt plays with a MOTOR at all times and rebounds everything in sight of her. According to my unofficial stats she recorded 17 rebounds in a running clock game and scored everything around the cup.
She stays around the basket and scores all of her points from 2 feet in just on effort and determination. Lyniah had a strong showing this summer and looks to be a late bloomer on the hardwood. She is a well-rounded athlete and also partakes in Track & Field.
Deyana really showed some good flashes today with her play. She showed a nice drop-step move around the cup and a willingness to finish from 8-10 feet away from the basket.
Hayes runs the floor well and feels most comfortable playing in the power forward position on the floor. Deyana a left-handed forward really does a good job of being a mover-screener on the floor. Deyana is geared to have a breakout season for the Lady Hurricanes this coming season.
Jerchel is very nimble with her footwork around the paint. She just really needs to figure out how to play every possession while on the floor to the fullest. She is a double-double every night at the Class 1A level. Geathers averaged 13.4 ppg and 10.8 rebounds last season for the Lady Bears.
Jerchel has great footwork and does a good job of keeping the ball up high. The Lady Bears added a new Head Coach in Logan Kingsbury this off season along with a transfer in Jasmyn Jenkins from Myrtle Beach HS.
Highlights
Ford has a great set of hands down low and a soft touch. I would like to see her be more aggressive at times when it comes to posting up down on the block with her back to the basket.
She can carve out space when needed along with being a good mover-screener on the floor. She has all the tools to get to the next level now it’s time to put them all together for the Lady Landsharks.
Alyssa is not flashy at all with her play. She plays the game to the fullest and does what she’s told to do on the floor. Causey was able to score a few baskets around the cup on second chance efforts and just staying active.
Alyssa should see more playing time this season in the front court for the Lady Warriors.
Highlights
Look for Sarah to be a Stock-Riser down the road. Ezell had some solid showings this summer on the Grassroots Circuit with the FBC Eagles.
She can play face-up to the basket and fells very comfortable knocking down the perimeter jumper. Sarah was able to finish with a jump-hook here today at times. She never hesitated at all to jump on the floor for a loose ball. She really made some winning plays today to help her squad.
