Teonna is a player out in Williamsburg County at a small Class 1A school. Draughn can create her own shot along with creating for her teammates.
She has a nice crossover-dribble to step by defenders at times with her playmaking skills. Teonna already has 2 full seasons of varsity basketball to her credit, and she will just be a freshman this year.
Teonna is a playmaker on the floor with a good feel for the game already at her age.
McLean is long and rangy and just really starting to figure things out on the hardwood. Miracle saw good minutes last season for the Panthers at the Class 5A level.
Look for her to run the floor and just glide around at times with her play. It seemed effortless at times. She will alter and challenge shots on the defensive end of the floor and fill the lane in the other direction.
Ayona was a pleasant surprise today with her play. She was all over the floor and claiming rebounds on both ends of the floor. Ayona plays every minute of the game to the fullest – GREAT EFFORT at all times.
She has big-time MOTOR at would just out play players with hustle points. The Volunteers have a good one in Alexander in the years to come.
Kyndal really likes to play the game aggressive for her age. She’ crafty with the ball in her hands and had no problems getting to the basket via slashing or attacking the baseline.
Kyndal finished with both hands around the rim. She plays very aware on the floor and always around the ball.
Highlights
Hightower was able to score the ball from all 3 levels today while on the floor. Hayley should see some good time this season for the Lady Bengals.
Hightower a left-handed guard plays aggressive on both ends and really looked to drop some floaters along the way. Hayley was able to finish drives to the cup through contact.
India and Hayley Hightower look to be part of the future plans for the Bythewood HS Lady Bengals.
India sure doesn’t lack confidence on the floor with her play. She really looks to play older than her age. India stroked a few three balls while out on the perimeter today. She constantly plays around the ball and was disruptive at times in the passing lanes.
