I took to Twitter to see what duos in North Carolina need to be watched this upcoming high school season, and the responses did not disappoint. Here are some of the duos (and some trios!) in Charlotte area NCISAA schools that should be watched.

We start off with a trio from Cannon as the Cougars continue to be a powerhouse of talent. [player_tooltip player_id='116906' first='Samyha' last='Suffren'] will continue to lead her team through her senior season. She controls the tempo of the game pushing the ball up the court or settling it down to run an offense. She can pull up with her jumpers from all over the court draining it from deep or weaving through defenders to the basket. [player_tooltip player_id='275952' first='Lili' last='Booker'] and [player_tooltip player_id='252865' first='Maya' last='McCorkle'] bring a lot of support in the guard position being tough defenders turning that into offense. Booker can battle through any kind of contact, and McCorkle can guard and drive against anyone trying to stop her.

[player_tooltip player_id='253888' first='Hannah' last='Sorrentino'] has been a leader for Metrolina controlling the ball and being a tough defender knocking the ball away from her opponents. She now has some deep shooting help from [player_tooltip player_id='458563' first='Emily' last='King'] who will be starting her first season with the Warriors. King can handle the ball, too, and she is bringing a strong scoring ability on all levels. This duo together is certainly worth your attention this upcoming season.

The Hankerson trio has returned to Charlotte Country Day, and we are here for it! [player_tooltip player_id='231023' first='Laila' last='Hankerson'] is going into her senior season and will certainly be a leader for the group. She makes smart decisions figuring out how to get an offense going. She sees the floor well knowing when to show off her shot or find an open teammate. [player_tooltip player_id='267232' first='Alyssa' last='Hankerson'] does a nice job of filling in the gaps on defense to get open for a pass and some points. She jumps into passing lanes grabbing steals, too. [player_tooltip player_id='242934' first='Alana' last='Hankerson'] is also a vocal leader with her group and doesn't shy away from knocking down shots from deep.

This next duo will be going to work at Covenant Day. [player_tooltip player_id='490729' first='Alexis' last='Hailey'] has been leading the charge with her lengthy presence controlling the ball, filling the gaps, and finding ways to the basket. She can show off her shot from anywhere, and she uses her length to get in the way of passes on defense. Avery Houseton will be coming into her freshman season, but she's been a three sport athlete for a while. She comes in with an ability to do it all for her team from hustling for loose balls, grabbing rebounds, and getting to the hoop to score.

This last duo comes to us a little west from the Charlotte area in the mountains at Asheville Christian Academy. The Larios sisters are certainly going to help the Lions make another championship run coming off the state championship from last season. [player_tooltip player_id='221937' first='Emma' last='Larios'] is set to take her talents to High Point University but not before having a great senior season leading the charge with her ball handling, tough on ball defense, and knockdown shots. [player_tooltip player_id='285953' first='Sara' last='Larios'] is another excellent ball handler coming into her sophomore season already playing at full speed in high school. She can show off her shot from anywhere scoring on all three levels just like her sister.
