SubscribeHow does the future look in the Palmetto State? Who were some of the members of the 2027 Palmetto State to be aware of down the road? Yes, the 2027 class out current 8th graders in the classroom. Let’s take a look at some of the 2027 class members we were able to see play today.
Braylin saw good minutes last season as a 7th grader for this Lady Bulldogs squad. Mungo a left-handed guard recently picked up offers from Coastal Carolina University and Charlotte.
Braylin is very crafty with the ball in her hands and plays very mature for her age already. Can the Bulldogs make a deep run this season in Class 3A?
Ginny Anne really liked having the ball in her hands all day long from out top. Dumont was able to get the ball to the cup while touching the paint at will.
She sees the floor very well and really was able to dish out some creative passes along the way. Dumont has good size already and look for her to grow still down the road. She plays the game very well with her court awareness and skill set.
Anastasia plays up on the Georgia-South Carolina state line at Calhoun Falls Charter. Gillam likes to get the ball downhill on the attack.
Anastasia plays the game with a fearless mindset and feels very comfortable pulling-up for a mid-range jumper along the way. She likes to play fast and cause chaos whenever possible on the floor. Gillam played very extensive minutes last season for the Flashes as a 7th grader.
Amirah is a left-handed guard from down here in the Lowcountry for Head Coach Lonnie Roberts.
Brown was able to get her shot off from the perimeter with a good shot release. Amirah did take a fall during the game we were able to watch to her play in today and was hampered the rest of the day.
