Makayla at #19 has good size and speed at the point and also does well off the ball. The Roadrunners haven’t been avoiding anyone over the past few years hitting some major tournaments. Makayla will have opportunities make a push for the top 10 as well as gain some national attention this season especially in conference play.
Layla dropped in at #25 with some stellar fall league play. Her notable game was against Forest Park where she showed a nice combination of speed and shooting. She and Amaya Durrett Amaya Durrett 5’6″ | CG Parkdale | 2025 State MD team up for a formidable back court where either can run the point or play off the ball making her hard to plan for.
Amora lands at a new school and in a new class. The #22 player in the state was impressive last season as a sophomore and had a good showing in the fall. With the word that she is doing it over again at Rosedale has us anticipating if the move will take her game to a new level.
Raegan has good size for a guard and plays hard regardless of what the scoreboard says. She locked in at the #63 spot with her consistency and her ability to shoot the mid range shot. She plays smart and within her skillset.
Highlights
Destiny only needs a little space to make you pay with a three pointer. She is ranked 10th at her position and #52 overall, Destiny needs to be guarded a few feet beyond the arc as she has range well beyond the three.
Dylan gained all-county honors as a freshman and has been turning heads with some early season awards. She is currently #67 but should make a rise if she continues on the same path. River Hill is always a contender in the state playoff race and she will be a key player in their success.
