Caitlin Kramer Caitlin Kramer 6'3" | SF Air Acadamy | 2024 State CO – Air Academy
Kramer has been nothing short of spectacular to start the season, facing the brunt of Air Academy’s offensive load. The 6’2 small forward makes use of her scoring from all over the floor within a very efficient usage rate. Although posting 29 points per game, Kramer often gets those looks within the flow of the offense. The wing deserves credit for her overall scoring efficiency while not slowing down the halfcourt flow. Her versatility as a shooter is her calling card, capable stepping into pull up jumpers going either direction. There are few shooters as dangerous as Kramer, given the shot speed combined with her above average height. To start the season, Kramer has posted 29 points, 9.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 3.9 stocks per game. On top of those incredible numbers has been her efficiency, contributing 56% of her two point attempts and 33% of three pointers. While elite on the offensive side, Kramer has proven herself as a versatile defender, especially as a help side shot blocker.
Gianna Whiteside Gianna Whiteside 5'11" | PF AZ Compass Prep | 2024 State AZ – George Washington
Whiteside links George Washington’s defense together while playing a valuable role facilitating for slashers. The junior forward has brought notable physicality on the glass and as a help defender. Her presence makes opponents think twice about scoring in the paint. To kick off the season, Whiteside has posted 9.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.9 stocks per game. Part of Whiteside’s defensive dominance resides in her fundamentals and relatively quick instincts. She does her part creating plenty of deflections, often making playmakers think twice about their decisions. One area worth noting will be her usage of the off hand, both in driving and passing opportunities.
Taylin Serlen – Standley Lake
Serlen has been nearly unstoppable down low for 7-1 Standley Lake. The 6’1 frontcourt piece is devestating as a help side shot blocker, posting 1.6 blocks per game. She has proven adept at those soft blocks, essentially tapping it to herself or a teammate, spurring a fast break. To kick off the season, Serlen has posted 20.8 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 6.5 stocks per game while contributing 56% of her two point attempts. Serlen has shown prowess down in the post, swimming or spinning around defenders for scoop layups around traffic. Continuing to develop her perimeter skillset, notably through the jump shot consistency will be essential for her upside at the next level.
Julia Leach Julia Leach 6'2" | PF Cherry Creek | 2024 State CO – Cherry Creek
Leach will be a valuable defensive piece for Cherry Creek, proving capable using her size to the strength of the team. The forward has brought physicality on the interior, especially coming on the boards. Leach has kicked off the season with steady numbers, posting 6.8 points and 4.5 rebounds per game while contributing 49% of her attempts with 7-2 Cherry Creek. Leach plays her role to a tee, prioritizing especially efficient shots around the rim.
