<p>In a highly anticipated match-up between two of the area's top 10 teams, Mercy traveled to Poly to square up. The gym was packed on both sides, but the game never really lived up to the hype. Mercy got 4 quick points from [player_tooltip player_id='540040' first='Myah' last='Hazelton'] but ended up with only 10 points at the half, thanks to Poly's constant pressure. The Lady Engineers were able to slow Mercy's offense down with strong on ball pressure at the point of attack and excellent help defense when needed. They led 25-10 at the break and never really looked back. Rebounding was heavily in Poly's favor as they crashed the boards relentlessly on their way to a comfortable win. </p>
