Coryn Watts Coryn Watts 5'8" | CG Regis Jesuit | 2024 State CO – Regis Jesuit
Watts has been nothing short of consistent for Regis Jesuit, providing stability in the backcourt. The 5’8 combo guard is quick off the dribble, utilizing her pace to create quality jumpers. Her compact shot form is a bit too quick for most defenders to contest. To start the season with Regis Jesuit, Watts has posted 13.9 points, 4 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.9 steals per game. A true lead guard, she looks to push the pace anytime there is an opening to the basket. Regis Jesuit has started 4-3, moving into another tough stretch to end the month.
Nevaeh Millard Nevaeh Millard 5'7" | CG Denver South | 2024 State CO – Denver South
Millard has taken another step in the right direction this season as a leader, facilitating a 4-1 start to the season. The combo guard will draw plenty of gravity this season, already stepping into three point jumpers with ease. Through her first three games, Millard has posted 20.3 points, 3 rebounds, and a staggering 5.7 steals per game. South’s halfcourt offense benefits from Millard’s spacing as she knocked down 39% of her threes so far. Although still growing as a decisionmaker, Millard is certainly capable creating opportunities for teammates. The combo guard is already one of the most exciting players in the class.
Emily Huxtable Emily Huxtable 5'6" | PG Rampart | 2024 State CO – Rampart
Huxtable places priority on the defensive end through her relentless effort. The junior guard sets the example for defensive intensity, conisistently keeping her hands up. Although deflections are not kept in the stat sheet, Huxtable easily causes six or seven per game. The guard aids her fullcourt offense through the defensive volume, spurring plenty of fast breaks. The guard has posted 15 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3.7 stocks per game. Huxtable maneuvers well around screens, creating high quality looks for her jump shot. While a dependable secondary scorer Huxtable has knocked down a very high percentage, 38% from three and 46% from the field.
Sara Chicco Sara Chicco 5'10" | SG Rocky Mountain | 2024 State CO – Rocky Mountain
Chicco will be a name worth keeping tabs on at the collegiate level, largely due to her playmaking upside. The 5’10 combo guard is a dynamic scoring threat first and foremost. Chicco possesses dependable shooting gravity either off the catch or dribble. The guard has shown consistency knocking down shots under duress, notably within transition. To start the season, the guard has averaged 19.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 2.3 steals per game. The junior out of Fort Collins has been especially efficient, knocking down 46% of her three point attempts. Chicco has shown playmaking skills as a live dribble passer, notably finding teammates through tight windows. Her next steps as an offensive talent will be drawing a greater volume of free throws, although she is off to an incredible start.
