Larsen is an athletic, quick shooting playmaker who moves all over the floor. She works hard on both ends leading to a good amount of success up to this point, being the first on the ground for a loose ball or even lifting up a teammate off the ground after a physical play. Her offensive skill set is impressive. She can shoot from all three levels or put it on the ground for a hard take to the hoop. She plays unselfishly and tries to get everyone involved while listening to the coach’s game plan. Moving forward she will strive to keep competing at a high level while showing off her skill set to everyone watching.
Highlights
Macy Comito comes into this season as a great example of a mature leader as a freshman point guard for her squad. Comito is a diverse point guard who can really fill it up shooting off of the dribble. She has a good handle and likes to push tempo when given the chance. She is pretty shifty going side to side while attacking the rim usually ending in a nice spin move and finish around her defender. Her misdirection dribble into a jump shot is second to none as she makes it look easy over her defender. For her All Iowa Attack AAU team she had a very successful season coming into this high school year and is ready to use that momentum moving forward. This is definitely a player that I would keep my eye. She has every tool in her “bag” to be an outstanding guard at any competitive level. If she can keep up with the consistent shooting from outside, she is going to be a big pick up for someone in the future.
Kendra Boatman Kendra Boatman 5’7″ | SG Keokuk | 2026 State IA works hard in attempts to be a complete yet sound individual and team player when she steps on the court, so far she is accomplishing all that and more to start her freshman season. Boatman comes into this Watch-List Update as one of best stand still shooters in the class of 2026. Looking for her spot around the arc consistently, once an opponent see’s her make one and jumps at it, she counters and likes to get to the mid-range area for a nice floater. In transition she does a great job at getting down the floor and spreading out to the wing position, opening up things for her teammates. She does a good job of looking toward the middle of the floor for her trailer coming in for a lay up if nothing else is open earlier in the possession. I’m excited to see what Boatman can accomplish overall this season. I would like to see her add a nice mid-range jump shot and work on her handle a little bit more but if she can fix up those little things, she will be a nightmare to guard.
