Below we highlight five prospects that you could say are stock-risers this Spring with their consistent production on the road. Each player listed is someone that should be competing at the collegiate level one day with the type of skill they bring to the hardwood.

Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!

The more that I watch Kingsley Thomas compete, the more I like her game and the more I think that she will be able to be a really nice piece in a college system one day. Thomas moves around at 5'10 at the Forward position and she is efficient in working the middle in every which way. We have seen her against man2man defenses, where she has to play more of a singular position and we have seen her against zones, where she has to play as the facilitator in the middle of the floor to help open up things around her. Offensively, when she catches in the Post she is someone that can finish through contact on either side of the hoop. Defensively, she can wall up quickly against her own size and she is always looking to come from help-side if need be. I received a few texts this weekend from some collegiate staff's around Iowa and they really like the way that Thomas is playing right now with her Lady Martin Bros Select team moving into our second live weekend of the Spring AAU season.

It's not shocking that Love Smith is competing her tail off on the road over the last few months. She is coming off of an impressive individual Freshman season as SE Polk and she has seemingly built off of that. Love Smith's game is built on high energy. She is skilled in several ways on both sides of the ball but her energy is contagious to those around her. She gets everyone else fired up and that's something you can't teach. She is the type that loves to pick up her matchup in the full court for an entire game just to mess with her opponents mentally and she always shows a great attitude even when calls might not go her team's way. If you are a coach, this is one you want on your team. She leaves it all out on the court and has several intangibles you could rave about while watching her compete.

It's tough to say that [player_tooltip player_id='1227725' first='Mya' last='McMath'] is a stock-riser this Spring with how she is competing because she isn't a Freshman yet but she is really good and she is definitely someone that everyone should learn about while she moves into the high school level this Fall at Bettendorf. McMath checks a lot of boxes. She is coordinated, calm & collected, she makes scoring seem effortless at times as she goes towards the hoop, and she can defend at a steady rate from the looks of it. Right now she is competing out of DSM for AAU with the AIA EYBL program and she is having a memorable Spring. This Winter she is going to be looked upon to be Bettendorf's leader almost immediately so it'll be interesting to see how she reacts to that. If she takes care of business like we have seen so far, she should thrive but we will just have to wait and see how it all plays out. As for now though, I'm sure she is going to keep killing it moving through the Summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='833954' first='Claire' last='Storhoff'] brought a lot of attention to my phone this weekend with how well she was performing off of the ball. Storhoff was knocking down shots at a high range from deep off the catch, she got downhill and scored whenever it was appropriate, and she created for others around her off of the dribble. Some forgot what Storhoff can bring to the floor because of her recent injury a year or so back but trust me, she can hoop. She is crafty and she is the type that just makes things happen out of no where. Sometimes at an uncanny rate. She has been consistent this Spring, showing after showing, and that's helping her grab more and more interest moving into the Summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='884400' first='Aubrey' last='Meyer'] is competing out of state with Missouri Phenom's 15U EYCL team this Spring and their team is killing it! This group has yet to lose this Spring season, showing everyone watching that they are going to be a team competing for a 15U EYCL National Championship in Chicago at the end of July. Just like Meyer - everyone on her squad has natural skill, a hungry for competition, and they know how to win. Sometimes when you haven't won a lot, you don't know what to do when it matters the most and you crumble but not this group. This group has REAL ball players. We have seen some really positive glimpses out of Meyer's individually during these last few months and we are hoping to see even more of that in Las Vegas this next weekend. She has been playing like a Top 10 player in the state for her Class and that says something with how talented that group really is.
