Riley Meyer of Okoboji High School is a noteworthy prospect with everything we have seen over the last three seasons at the high school level. Meyer is a 5'8 PG that can play on or off of the ball. She is EXTREMELY active while defending at either position and she always seems to be a standout for her Boji program whenever she takes the floor. She usually handles a good amount of their scoring with either her step-back jumper going left off the bounce or it's a bucket in transition off of a steal because of a tip or deflection on the other end. Meyer recently grabbed an offer from NAIA powerhouse - Dordt. She has taken a few other visits to programs around the Midwest the last few months so we will have to wait and see where she ends up.

Pins has been playing solid ball this Spring, holding her own in multiple facets of the game and that has led to some college interest from around the surround area's. As of most recent, Pins grabbed an offer from Iowa Lakes CC to continue on following this next year of high school ball. There are several good CC programs around Iowa that usually compete for a National Title on a pretty regular basis so it's always nice to have some of those options on the table. I think Pins is solid but some more experience could do her wonders. She has a fundamental games and if she can build on that who knows how good she could become over the rest of her career.

We have seen Anna Latham of Mason City bring in a handful of offers the last twelve months. Latham, the 5'6 CG, is a versatile piece who is going to be a solid PG in college once she finally gets there. She can currently move all over the floor at the Guard position but with her size she will be favored to stick to that 1 spot in meaningful situations. To start the month Latham received an offer to compete at Central (Dutch) College after high school ball concludes. This is another respectable offer for Latham to add to her growing list of suitors. If she keeps up the good work on the road this AAU season I'm sure she will continue to bring the interest in before she ends up making a decision.

To no ones surprise Kelli Kalb of AIA EYBL and Johnston High School grabbed her first offer of this 2026 Spring seasons yesterday when Colorado State decided to make that call. This is a lengthy SG at 6'0, who is slowly grabbing more and more interest from all over the Country as the years go on. She has been blowing up around the Midwest the last couple of seasons and now it's time for schools from all over the Nation to come into play. It's going to be a very interesting High School Winter to follow this AAU season for Johnston because Kalb is going to be looked upon to be their go-to option in several different instances. How she proceeds from there will tell us a lot about what's going to happen over the next few seasons within that program as a whole and for Kalb individually as well.

Cora Sauer committed to Minnesota State University Moorehead to start her week off with a bang. Sauer, the 5'8 SG, has been a standout shooter over the last couple of years at the Varsity level during high school competition. During those times, she is also a sound prospects overall with a pretty well-rounded skill set. She primarily works off of the ball but she is coordinated enough to run PG if she has too. We have seen glimpses of that on the travel floor as well over the years so it wouldn't shock me if that's what she turned into in the future. Over the next calendar year I'm sure that Sauer will do her thing and finish off high school on a high note. She is good about making the most of her opportunities and I expect that to be a constant throughout her career as she marches on.
