West was hard to stop in transition she loves getting down hill, once she gets full head of steam there is not much defenders could do to stop her from scoring at the rim. She did whatever it took for her team to win. Weather is was knocking down corner threes, hustling on every possession or crashing the boards hard for rebounds. At just an 8th grader she is one of the top players on the team. Pernell has tremendous ball handling skills and elite long range shooting ability. She plays with so much poise for a young player no moment is too big for her. The first game against Lincoln County she led Henry Clay in scoring with 16 points opening the game with a deep three pointer from the wing. The next day she put up 15 points in a close victory over South Warren. On the last game of the classic against Lawrence County she came to life scoring a career high 30 points, while shooting an efficient 10/15 from the field and 10/10 from the free throw line. What is most impressive about this performance is that Miller never attempted a three pointer. She can rebound, block shots, and score at all three [player_tooltip player_id='886739' first='Level' last='']s. Kennedy performed well in her home gym she had 16 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assist, and 5 blocks in a tough loss to Southwestern. Her second best game was against Frederick Douglass she had 14 points, 5 rebounds, ad 5 blocks. Kennedy is playing at a high [player_tooltip player_id='886739' first='Level' last=''] I expect her to continue to be a key contributor for the Lady Knights this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
