Mackenzie Teuton Mackenzie Teuton 5'5" | PG Travis | 2027 State TX
Teuton’s savviness as well as court vision has always been ahead of her years yet she continues to show that she not only comprehends the game, her ability to run a team will translate quickly when she gets to high school. She created her shot under pressure, knocked it down while being defended and her range is getting deeper
Lyla Delafosse
Delafosse put on a show in so many ways as her progression continues. Off the dribble, she’s hard to handle because of her athleticism and body control yet her zig-zagging through defenders in the open court had me smiling, and so did her FLOATA. She played the passing lane, I love that yet she also threw passes in transition with either hand, on the money
Bailey Burns
Burns was initially settling for the long ball, I told her to add more yet she’s added MUCH more. She rebounded on both ends, ran the floor, and scored around the basket, putbacks included. She also did a good job defending, both in and outside the paint. Her handling the ball in the open court was nice, and so was her attacking the basket but she finished with either hand, as well as dropped the long ball
Rachel Roberts
Roberts uses her deceptive first step to get by defenders yet she also creates her shot under pressure and gets it off with ease. I loved her step back, as well as her “stop and pop” in transition but mid to long-range will create issues for defenders. She also used her length and athleticism to block shots, nice timing and she saw the floor
Tori Walton
Walton is heady and a fierce competitor which also translates into #sizedontmatter when you can play. Her HEZ had me going, that’s hesitation and it got the defender off balance both in the set as well as in transition. Her threading the needle for assist opportunities was nice, solid body control while attacking the basket as well as showing the jumper
Maddie Broxterman
Broxterman is turning into one of those “nightmare to defend” types of players. She’s smooth with the ball, pressure is irrelevant and she elevates on her jumper and drops it with a hand in her face. She handles the ball coast to coast after rebounding, solid court vision makes her a threat from the other side of the court but she also did a good job defending and playing the passing lane
Lauren Hull Lauren Hull 5'10" | SG Kinkaid | 2027 State TX
Hull sold me a while back, in fact, a good friend of mine told me last week I needed to check her out and I used the search bar and let him know I had seen her. She’s falling into that ‘long and ultra-athletic” category and watching her defy gravity on her finishes should give you a visual. Her first step is a monster, she finishes after contact as well as on putbacks, yes she rebounds on both ends but her “on the ball defense” as well as playing the passing lane are huge pluses, well so is her jumper
Avery Campbell
Campbell is long and athletic and she caught my eye initially in the skills portion of the event so did it translate over to the game situation? Yes, it did. She creates her shot under pressure, first is a problem, and so is her body control yet she also showed the pull-up jumper. She has a nice release and she elevates both on the pul-up as well as attacking and rebounding. She also saw the floor well
Fayrouz Tahir
Tahir uses her body well both inside the paint to finish after contact as well as attacking the basket but peep this, she understands how to also create contact. She has a nice jumper, which keeps the defender honest yet her court vision is also a threat, She does a good job rebounding, on both ends of the court, and her “on-the-ball defense” was something else that stood out
