Copple shot up the rankings and probably deserves to be even higher. She’s one of the best pure shooters in the state, and if you claimed she was the best from beyond the arc, I wouldn’t tell you that you’re wrong. Copple is a game changer with her jumper and she proved the in the state playoffs last high school season.
Highlights
Pasinos really made a statement loud and clear over grassroots season last year. She showed in the gym range on her jumper and defenses had to account for her as soon as she crossed halfcourt. Pasinos stock rose in number, and more importantly, in reputation. She created a loud buzz at PGH Circuit events.
Andrews started her climb in the district finals last high school season. It was there where her game showed a maturity to it and she has built dramatically from there. She’s an athletic perimeter scorer that can attack off the bounce as well as leave defenders grasping with her step back jumper.
Washington came off a state championship with West Bloomfield, but obviously wasn’t done yet. She absolutely exploded at the PGH Michigan Top 250, showing what was to come this high school season. Washington is continuing her stellar play and will be a key player in West Bloomfield’s title defense.
In 2022, Reid showed that she has the ability to not just play against high major prospects, but she can shine among them. I’ve seen it with my own 2 eyes. She’s absolutely electric on the offensive end. Reid has shiftiness with the ball, giving her the ability to constantly find looks at the rim.
Freshcorn needs to be recruited ASAP. She should have more than a handful of offers at this point. She was the leader and floor general for an MSF Flight squad that played excellent basketball on the PGH Circuit. Freshcorn was an excellent shooter from beyond the arc and played tough perimeter defense.
Highlights
Wypych showed in the last calendar year that she can be an elite prospect in her class. She’s an efficient shooter that recognizes good looks at the rim. Wypych is equally as efficient with the ball in her hands. She can dribble and pass through pressure and gets the ball to it’s spots.
LaPrairie took an “I’ll prove it” approach to the summer and fall, and boy did she ever prove it. The best thing is, from spring through the fall, she kept playing better and better basketball. LaPrairie turned herself into a true multi level scorer. Her use of shot fakes and ball fakes allowed her to get to the rim as well as create space for her jumper.
Collins is a player that just keeps getting better and keeps adding to her stock as a prospect. She’s an athletic scorer off the wing, in fact, one of the best in the state if you ask me. Collins can be a menace in the open floor when she fills a wing, takes a feed, and finishes at the rim.
