Here’s just a handful of top performances that I have watched live, been sent by the player, or seen on Twitter. There are MANY other players who have stood out that I missed as well. Here’s some more of Devin’s Standouts!
Bothell has been a very solid team this year, being 9th in the 4A RPI rankings currently. Hawkins has been playing extremely well during her junior year campaign. She has an excellent pull up mid-range shot as she is able to stop on a dime quickly. She is able to drive with either hand, finishing efficiently with both. Against Mount Si, she dropped 21 points and pulled down 11 rebounds on the night.
Aniya is one of my favorite players to watch on the court. She has a very controlled dribble, which helps her get by defenders playing tight defense. She has shifty handles that also stand out to me. She can get to the rim with ease but also shoot lights out from deep. Honestly, her deep shot is most impressive to me out of all her assets in her game (and there’s a lot). She can shoot off the catch, off the dribble, coming off screens, anything. Against Edmonds-Woodway, she had 30 points, 3 assists, 4 rebounds, and got 7 steals on the defensive end.

Maddy has had a very steady and dominating season. Her name is going under the radar quite a bit but she has the talents of a D1 player. She is a force down low in the paint and reads the ball coming off the rim very well. Against Curtis she dropped 28 points and pulled down 16 rebounds for yet another big time double-double game.

Nathan Hale is a very young team who has grown quite a bit over the season. Jorja is only a freshman, but is already a key part to his team. Against Cleveland HS she dropped a career high 20 points and also grabbed 18 rebounds on the game which was also a career high for her. She has a ton of potential and is only going to keep getting better over the next 3 seasons.
