The majority of them are freshman that I have come across while evaluating the Class of 2026. They aren’t the ones having the best season but they are ones who are worthy of some recognition.
She has a nice looking jumper that she can hit from any spot in the offense. She has good lift on her shot and shoots it from deep. She is excellent at getting steals and finishing on the other end. She can get crafty with her buckets when she gets into the paint. She rebounds and jumps well for a guard. She had a double double and came about as close as I have seen recently to a quadruple double room with 20 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists, and 6 steals. She uses a combination of quickness and anticipation to get steals in bunches.
Highlights
She has a great feel for the game from the point guard position. She makes the right passes and can score. She handles the ball well with quickness. She shoots it with a quick release from three. She can make step back jumpers and is able to free herself for her own shot using her dribble. She plays under control and smooth, always within the offense. She has great floor vision and her passes are crisp with a purpose. She plays on a team with a few good guards but she stood out with her skill-set. One of two players not freshman in this article.

Another underclassmen from Hazen who is having a good season. She is 2nd on the team at 10 points a game along with 7 rebounds and over 3 assists. She is a solid all around player who has some versatility for her size. She has a soft touch and is an excellent free throw shooter as well as being able to knock down shots from distance. She can handle the ball well enough to play anywhere on the floor. She makes good decisions and gets her teammates the ball when they are open and ready to shoot. She has a good upside with her size and overall
She is providing consistent offense for her team as a freshman this season. She is a good shooter and makes shots, shooting 45% from the field. She hasn’t made many threes but can get to the basket and plays well within the offense. She is under control and doesn’t get in a hurry which allows her to get her shots. She also finishes well when she does get to the basket. She is getting 5 rebounds a game to go with the team best 11 points. This team has some good young players and a bright future.
A versatile player on a good team. She is having success as a freshman and contributing in different ways. She is a shooter and can hit threes. She guards multiple positions and is active creating turnovers. She has the ability to score in the paint, but I would say that her ability to stretch the defense is the better part of her offensive game along with her thefts at the other end.

She had a monster game against Cleveland, scoring 20 points and grabbing 18 rebounds. Those numbers are far below her season averages of 9 and 6 but nonetheless notable for a freshman. Her team is having a tough season but should be better in the years to come with lots of youth.
