The regular season will be over for some in about a month and we're cruising towards the postseason. With the postseason comes award season and it never hurts to predict who the regional players of the year will be. Remember, these MUST be Seniors!

First Region:

[player_tooltip player_id='158174' first='Destiny' last='Thomas'], McCracken County - Destiny is having a great season and McCracken is the heavy favorite to win the region.

Second Region:

[player_tooltip player_id='200350' first='Taylor' last='Guess'], Crittenden County - Guess has been the best player in the region in the class for the entire 4 years.

Third Region:

[player_tooltip player_id='200347' first='Adylan' last='Ayer'], Daviess County - Almost all of the talent in the 3rd is Juniors and below. Ayer is the best Senior.

Fourth Region:

[player_tooltip player_id='164395' first='Meadow' last='Tisdale'], Bowling Green - Going with the "best player on the best team" theory here.

Fifth Region:

[player_tooltip player_id='257280' first='Emma' last='Filiatreau'], Bethlehem - Just like the 3rd region, so much of the 5th region talent is young but Emma has had a great career and is the best Senior in the region.

Sixth Region:

[player_tooltip player_id='164406' first='Amy' last='Thompson'], Whitefield Academy - Another region dominated by young talent. Amy is the MVP for a very good Whitefield team.

Seventh Region:

[player_tooltip player_id='164391' first='Jakayla' last='Thompson'], DuPont Manual - Thompson is having a great year and has Manual in position to compete with SHA for a regional title.

Eighth Region:

[player_tooltip player_id='393709' first='Daveigh' last='Reichenbach'], Spencer County - Nearly averaging a double-double and helping to get Spencer near the top of the 8th, Daveigh has earned the honor.

Ninth Region:

[player_tooltip player_id='164390' first='Whitney' last='Lind'], Cooper - Lind has had a long and decorated career and likely ends it as the Miss Basketball nominee for the 9th.

Tenth Region:

[player_tooltip player_id='164386' first='Brianna' last='Byars'], George Rogers Clark - Byars is like Lind in a lot of ways. She should cap off a great career as the regional player of the year.

Eleventh Region:

Katherine Truitt, Lexington Catholic - The top talent in the 11th is all 2024 and below. Look for Truitt's numbers to help her to the win.

Twelfth Region:

[player_tooltip player_id='259395' first='Love' last='Mays'], Danville - Love is having a monster season and has the Lady Ads in position to make a run to Rupp Arena in March.

Thirteenth Region:

Emily Sizemore, North Laurel - Emily falls under the "best player on the best team" category and is deserving of the award.

Fourteenth Region:

[player_tooltip player_id='164398' first='Courtney' last='Hoskins'], Leslie County - One of the most valuable small school players in Kentucky, Courtney has had a really great career at Leslie.

Fifteenth Region:

[player_tooltip player_id='173759' first='Kensley' last='Feltner'], Lawrence County - This one is a no brainer for voters. She leads the state in scoring and will be one of the favorites to win the award.

Sixteenth Region:

[player_tooltip player_id='164384' first='Haven' last='Ford'], Rowan County - Another no brainer, I have Haven as the front runner for the award and it will likely be either her or Feltner holding the trophy at the end.
