Caitlin Kramer Caitlin Kramer 6'3" | SF Air Acadamy | 2024 State CO -Air Academy
Caitlin is currently the leading scorer in the state as she is averaging 25.6 points per game. At 6’3 she is able to play every position on the court, which causes matchup problems on both ends of the floor. Teams are usually forced to either live with her getting to the rim or shooting it from 3 and she applies pressure often by staying aggressive. What makes Caitlin so successful on offense is her willingness to grab a rebound and push the pace before teams can get set defensively. Although Air Academy is sitting at 8-5 this season I think they are poised to make a big push come state tournament time. As long as she is at the helm., the team has a chance.
Elizabeth Gentry Elizabeth Gentry 6'2" | PF Arapahoe | 2024 State CO – Arapahoe
Elizabeth Gentry Elizabeth Gentry 6'2" | PF Arapahoe | 2024 State CO is sitting out this year due to her transferring from Columbine to Arapahoe, but her game has spoken for itself over the past two seasons. She is a long and athletic player that has the skillset offensively and defensively to play multiple positions on the court. She also has all of the tools to excel, regardless of the matchup. Elizabeth has great hands around the rim as she is able to finish off the dribble and with her back to the basket. Arapahoe will be a team to look out for next year as Gentry gets into the lineup and already has the pieces to compete. This will be a year of progression for her.
Hana Belibi– Regis
Hana Belibi is one of the more athletic players we have in the state and that makes her almost impossible to guard in a one on one setting. When she decides to put her head down and go to the basket there isn’t much opposing teams can do. Belibi has great body control and can finish over anybody. Once you combine that with her shooting ability from 3, you can see why most teams send two people at her every time. With Regis currently at 9-5, I’m interested to see how they finish out league play and with her being one of their star players, it is a team that has the makings to make a deep run.
Damara Allen– Cherokee Trail
If we’re going to talk about a player that has turned some heads this season there is no way you can leave out Damara Allen and what she has been able to do at Cherokee Trail this season. She is one of the more skilled players in the class. Damara is also able to get creative offensively. Whether it’s a fadeaway jumper from the post or a crafty finish at the rim between two defenders she is able to explore her game and make plays happen. When you look at the stat sheet, her 11.3 points a game don’t really jump off the page but watching them live you can tell that she is a huge part of their 12-1 record this season with aspirations to win it all.
Nevaeh Millard Nevaeh Millard 5'7" | CG Denver South | 2024 State CO -Denver South
Nevaeh Millard Nevaeh Millard 5'7" | CG Denver South | 2024 State CO has become a household name of the last two years. She is a scoring guard that has proven that she can get it done from all three levels of the floor. In her junior year she is averaging 20.7 points per game, which is good for 2nd in 6A and 16th in the state. She also has her Denver South team sitting at 10-3 on the year. Nevaeh isn’t your typical sharp shooter that just waits for things to happen. She has a variety of moves that keeps the defense on their heels and also is a lockdown defender that is called upon at that end of the floor.
