Blanca Thomas has expanded the court knocking down her shot from deep. She had a nice spin move in the paint for two points. She is patient finding the right spots to grab rebounds on both ends of the court. Her power dribbles and post moves throwing off her opponents with fakes are definitely difficult to defend. She seals off her opponents making sure they can throw it to her as she steps into the shot. She ran a dish and go play perfectly getting the pass for the bucket.
Maya Robinson finds ways to make a play even when her opponents think the offense has broken down. She crashes the boards, grabs offensive rebounds, and flashes in the paint for some points. She reads her defenders well finding ways to get open off in bounds plays for more points. She hustles after loose balls going for the steals, and she knows how to immediately find her teammates.

Justice Alexander was showing off her range shooting the ball. She had an old fashioned three point play, too, draining a midrange jumper through contact. She was smart facilitating plays and directing her teammates, too. There’s definitely a bright future ahead for this athlete who already shows a high basketball IQ.
Joelle Davis continues to show off why she is one of the best shooters being a sure bet when she pulls up around the perimeter. She knocked down four from deep against Lake Region. On defense, she had a quick close out blocking the shot of a guard trying to put up a three pointer. She hustles up and down the court finding ways to push the tempo for her team on fast breaks.
McKenzie Taylor came out strong knocking down her shot from deep. She is always grabbing steals and pushing them the other direction. She found her teammates with perfect passes on backdoor cuts. She was controlling the tempo for her team pushing it up the court finding her open teammates or settling down to run an offensive set. She attacked the basket scoring points right when her team needed it in the fourth quarter.
Icyss Storm is a strong post player controlling the paint using her spin moves to score some points. She is aggressive going after rebounds, and she goes back up with offensive boards battling contact for the points. She did a nice job hustling back on defense being ready to grab the board off a missed layup in transition. She showed a lot of strength battling in the paint boxing out tough post players. She had a nice spin move off an offensive rebound that turned into an old fashioned three point play.
Highlights
It will be tough for you to find someone who works harder in the paint than Gracynn Gough Gracynn Gough 6’0″ | SF Charlotte Catholic | 2024 State NC . She constantly moves around the lane sealing off her opponents and repositioning to make sure she is an open target. Her ability to battle in the paint for a rebound against anyone is an asset on both ends of the court. She can knock it down from deep, too. She hustles back on offense being ready for the pass in transition.
Miyah Campbell was so quick handling the ball pushing it up the court for solo fast breaks. She was tough guarding the main ball handler keeping her from being able to run a play effectively. She was knocking down shots finding the opening as her teammates drove through the paint.
Reese Wilson was knocking down her shot from deep early in the game, and she was converting her free throws for some points when she was fouled attacking the basket. She brings a lot of energy to her team even when she is getting a breather on the bench leading cheers and celebrating her teammates as they make their own plays.
Highlights
Chayla McDaniel does a nice job filling the lanes in transition attacking the basket being ready for the pass and bucket. She drives to the hoop handling the ball herself, or she finds the openings to get ready for a pass. She was a tough defender drawing an offensive foul against her opponent who was trying to create space away from her.
