Perhaps the most likely of the 2025 sophomores in Class 2B to bring home a state title. Colfax is rolling and she is the main reason why. Although not the only reason by any means. She is a division 1 prospect over 6’0 with a lot of talent and versatility. She can play the three at the next level, or the 4,5. She has the talent to become a huge prospect and win the state 2B title along the way. Colfax is my pick to win a state championship this season in 2B.
Perhaps the player who plays the most important role on the most talented team in the state. Another Camas player who will be around for a couple more years. She is already one of the best point guards in the state. Her vision is one of a kind, along with the way she runs the show. She is a natural at the point guard position and plays like one should. Already receiving some national attention for her all around skills that make her a point guard protégé.
She is the all hustle heart and soul of the Camas defense. She is long and at around 6’0 she creates match-up problems for other teams. She may not show up big in the box score but takes pride in her defense. She was all over the place on defense against a great Bellarmine Prep team and changed the momentum of the game.
She plays a big part in the success of Woodinville this season. Last year’s state champions at the 4A level. She can shoot it and has done well with that role, hitting some big shots. She is a player that you can’t leave open and with all the talent around her, that is bound to happen, setting the stage for some big shots in the post-season.
She plays for perhaps the biggest favorite to win a title in any classification in Ellensburg. She is a 6’4 rim protector who plays alongside 6’6 Olivia Anderson Olivia Anderson 6’6″ | PF Ellensburg | 2023 State #37 Nation WA at the back end of the pressure defense that Ellensburg plays. With size and skills to go with it, I don’t see anyone beating this team for the 2nd year in a row.
Garfield is not only extremely talented, they are young as well. She is another sophomore and key player that provides scoring for the Bulldogs. She is strong guard who has that talent to be a scorer and is one who can get buckets inside and out. She has great ball-skills from the guard position, and is great in the lane finishing plays with her crafty skills.
Playing for the defending champion Bulldogs, who are the favorite to repeat as champions this season. She is also versatile with a rare skill- set. A good athlete who is an important piece of the Garfield team. Another over 6’0 who can do a lot of things for her team.
Highlights
The scary thing about Camas is that they are all underclassmen. She is a solid player who can shoot the lights out. If not for her playing on what I consider to be the most talented team in the state, she could fill it up to the tune of 20 plus points per game.
