Sneed helped lead her team to a 45-43 victory over Hays and it also takes the Thunderbirds to the Regional Final 4 yet Endia Stigall Endia Stigall 5'5" | PG Hays (Buda) | 2026 State TX showed why she’s one of the top freshmen in Texas with her “I’m not afraid” mindset for Buda Hays. Here are the STANDOUTS
WAGNER
Sahnani Sancho-5’7 CG [2023]
Sancho caught my eye over the club season and to say she created some problems is an understatement. She’s averaging just under 15 PPG for the season while dropping 80% from the FT line, both came in handy as well as her shooting 40% from BTA. Her dropping the long ball, scoring off the dribble, and seeing the floor all played a huge part in their win yet so did her defense as she picked some pockets and played the passing lane
Aniya Bigley
Bigley shot the long ball around 30% for the season yet her multiple three pointers also played a big part in their win because she helped change the momentum for the Thunderbirds as well as stop runs from Hays by dropping it from deep
Leonna Sneed Leonna Sneed 5'6" | PG SA Wagner | 2025 State TX -5’7 PG [2025]
Sneed and her poise under pressure JUST DID IT for me as a 5th grader playing up and her mindset told me she would be taking everything up, up, and away. She ran her team strategically by controlling the tempo and mixing everything up offensively with her stop and pop as well as using a deceptive first step, her ability to get to the line after using body control after contact was also big. She saw the floor yet on the flip she applied baseline to baseline pressure
BUDA HAYS
Maya Pimitel-6’2 C [2024]
Pimitel hit the boards on both ends of the court and also did a good job defending inside the paint. She showed good timing and made a huge block down the stretch but her scoring around the basket helped keep them within striking distance, not to leave out her dropping the long ball
Naya Burleson-6’0 PF [2025]
Burleson has caught my eye in a variety of events and most recently, I said THIS. She too hit the boards on both ends of the court by going after the ball relentlessly at times yet her layup in the 3rd had them up double digits. She used some nice moves around d the basket but her key block in the last quarter helped keep them close
Endia Stigall Endia Stigall 5'5" | PG Hays (Buda) | 2026 State TX -5’5 CG [2026]
Stigall is one of those players that “I don’t care who you play for, only if you can play” but again, I’m a REAL EVALUATOR and I knew she was special a long time ago. I hadn’t seen her during the school season, she made First Team at the PGH Texas Freshman Showcase and I mentioned her dropping 40 during the club season against a talented varsity squad, one more time, “it’s not what you do, it’s who you do it against”. She has one of the best stop-and-pop jumpers in the state, all classes included, and I said the same thing about Sidney Love (Steele) years ago. Her explosiveness off the dribble and just getting wherever she wants makes her a “nightmare to defend”
