I apologize for any players that I may have missed when scanning the comments.
Smith is quickly proving to be one of the better shooters around. She has hit the 3 ball with precision this season. Smith even had an eye popping 7 triples in a win over Fenton.
Andrews has been electric, even earning recognition as a finalist for a Prep Girls Hoops Player of the Week earlier in the season. Long known as the step back jumper queen, she has also shown shiftiness in her attack of the bounce. Andrews looks confident in her game right now, and rightfully so.
There’s a really good reason that Collins keeps getting mentioned. Let’s face the facts, she’s an elite wing talent in the state. She can attack in a half court set and is so dangerous in the open floor as well. Collins is an athletic finisher and the type of wing that generally succeeds at the next level.
Jones is most definitely a 2024 prospect that we should all get to know. She’s been turning it up offensively this season, so much so that school records aren’t, and haven’t been, safe. Jones hasn’t just scored, as she’s also created opportunities for her teammates as well.
Highlights
Nadiyah Walsh
Nadiyah Walsh
Walsh is proving that she’s a name and a player that we should become familiar with. She can score from multiple spots on the floor, utilizing a solid jumper with 3 point range. Walsh can drive to the rim with physicality while showing touch in the mid range and on her finishes.
I was able to scout/evaluate Cook’s game earlier this season. It’s easy to see why she was mentioned in the comments under this Prep Girls Hoops tweet. Cook can start her game on the defensive end with her ability to defend the entire length of the floor. She’s able to create chaos for the opposing offense and turn it into points for her own team.
