The postseason is right around the corner, which means there will be kids who help their team win games and advance when they need them. Today, we'll highlight some juniors who can help change the course of a game on a dime.

The Nodaway Valley guard is one of the smoothest scorers around. Davis has a knack for finding the soft spot in defenses and making them pay for any mistakes. The junior is the leading scorer among players in the class of 2024 in the state, and it's easy to understand how that's happened. There is something to be said about a kid who can score off the dribble and stays in control whenever she's on the floor. Davis' ability to create off the dribble could be important later in the postseason because of the addition of the shot clock. She could help her team score points when the offense stagnates and put some points on the board when other teams couldn't.

[player_tooltip player_id='314126' first='Camdyn' last='Kay']

The Dubuque Hempstead guard can score in bunches, and when she gets in a rhythm, she can hurt defenses and play her team into a game. Kay can shoot the ball at a high level. For her, it's all about finding space, and teams will make that difficult. However, if Kay can get into a rhythm, there is a chance Kay and her team can surprise a higher seed and give them a competitive game.

[player_tooltip player_id='246130' first='Ella' last='Sharar']

The forward from Iowa Falls-Alden can do a bit of everything for the Cadets. Sharar is an athletic forward who moves well, shoots the ball, cuts well, defends on the perimeter, and in the paint, along with rebounding the basketball. The Cadet is averaging a double-double this season and has the versatility to play on the offensive end or the defensive end on the wing or in the paint. Sharar's ability to fit different roles and apply various skills that will help her team the most on any given night makes her challenging to prepare for, and in the postseason, that's a factor.

[player_tooltip player_id='314161' first='McKenna' last='Sievers']

Newell-Fonda should have no problem getting to the Wells Fargo Center, and in 1A, the challenges for state title contenders won't be until they get to Des Moines. Sievers ability to create live ball turnovers and make good decisions in transition will help her team score in bunches, which her team loves to do.
