We are starting with the seniors and will be making our way down towards the freshman. Let’s get started:
The 6-0 sophomore forward has length and athleticism, as well as play multiple positions while out on the floor. She has expanded her range and is now a viable perimeter threat as well as post up. She can score in multiple ways and exceeds at running the floor. During the regular season she averaged 15.6 points and 8.9 rebounds per game to help lead the Lady Cougars to their second consecutive Final Four.
Highlights
After transferring to Faith Christian from DME Academy last off-season, Kitts averaged 11.9 points and 8.7 rebounds per game during the regular season. Kitts shows great leadership while out on the floor and has knocked down clutch shots time after time again.
The 5-11 small forward can play a variety of positions when out on the floor, as well as guard positions 1 through 5 on the defensive end. She provides athleticism and has a high motor on the floor. Jones can also score in a variety of ways whether it’s in the post, the mid-range or beyond the arc. Jones is averaging 12.5 points and 8.7 rebounds per game this season for King’s Academy.
The 6-0 wing plays hard and is active for a full 32 minutes, as well as play exceptionally well around the rim. McFadden averaged 12.0 points and 6.3 rebounds per game during the regular season for the Lady Raiders. On the offensive end, she has a strong nose for the basket and attacks at a very high percentage. On the defensive end, she plays with a complete edge and can go get a rebound with the best of them with her superb athleticism.
The 5-8 wing is extremely talented and has a high motor while out on the floor. She is completely fearless and plays with a chip on her shoulder, whether it’s diving for a loose ball or taking a charge with the game on the line. She has a great basketball IQ and makes the best decision whether to pass or shoot when the ball is in her hands.
The 5-8 combo guard has had a stellar sophomore season, averaging 10.1 points and 4.4 rebounds per game for the Lady Stallions. Jordan is a quick guard and can shoot from all levels on the court. On the defensive end, she has very quick hands and gets into the passing lanes to get steals which turn into baskets on the other end. She tied a season-high four steals to go along with 10 points and 6 rebounds in the 64-58 win over PK Yonge in the region final on February 17.
