Today we released the Spring rankings update for the Class of 2026. There were 25 new additions in total, plus a few players who raised their “stock”, so to speak, so subsequently there was some movement throughout the list. We also expanded the Top-20 overall prospects list to a Top-35 list, plus we expanded our watchlist by ten spots. I wanted to take this time to circle back and address all of the listed prospects, position by position. Below is a look at 27 point guard prospects who make up 27.0% of the rankings this time around, with analysis on a handful to “keep an eye on” detailed at the bottom.

KEEP AN EYE ON:
If you are unfamiliar with Kenedi, I’d get to know her soon. She is a talented athlete for the position, and she has great end-to-end speed, especially with the ball in her hands. She gets downhill quickly, changes directions as well, and is a terror for defenses when she’s determined to get to the rim. Her perimeter jumper continues to improve, and as her handle gets tighter, she will be a real problem to contain at all three levels. Kenedi averaged 10.2 ppg during the 2022-2023 season.
Castle has several really nice guards spread throughout all four graduating classes, so for Paiton to have seen as much action as she did this Winter says a lot about her understanding of the game. She is a tough-nosed, feisty kid, who plays with a nice motor. But it’s her balanced skillset, her ability to handle situations, and her veteran savvy that help her stand out. She is a capable shooter, and as she continues to learn angles and becomes craftier, look for her to develop into a multilevel scorer.
Highlights
Trinity is another talented athlete playing the point guard position. She looks like a running back when she’s attacking the basket, and she shows good shiftiness and burst. She is extremely strong and compact for her height, and she absorbs contact very well for a youngster. She is an effortful and gifted defender, and she can create or score offensively. As she continues to improve her game, a more consistent jump-shot will be key, but she did score it at an impressive 20.3 ppg clip this Winter.
