When under pressure, Thorton exhibits excellent court awareness and poise. Can finish on either side of the rim when attacking the basket and has quick feet and a strong first step. Both a shooter and a passer with great court vision. She displays excellent board anticipation and rushes the rim to grab rebounds as soon as the shot is released. Jumps to #21
Highlights
Enormous gym rat who is always eager to learn. She possesses exceptional ball handling abilities in a wide range of scenarios, which increases the benefit to her team when she enters the game. She is improving her defense and good anticipation this season. Lands at #22.

Makayla is a player who can take advantage of her excellent length and use her body to score through contact. She can use it defensively to deflect shots that are made around the rim. Has good wingspan and nice speed. She can control the boards by rebounding well. Current ranked #27.
Very active player on the offensive end of the floor but also does a very nice job at getting back on defense to make it hard for her opponents to score on fastbreaks. Quick and versatile athlete with great body control and composure, she can knock down shots from deep and has a nice pull-up jumper. Sits at #30.
She is highly athletic and quick, and he can handle most guards, regardless of class. She is eager to improve, and she has excellent court vision and passing skills. The capacity to make shots for oneself or one’s team while handling the ball well. Able to play point guard and set the flow of the game. Moves up to #31.
Very aggressive and competitive defender. She is a tough player, but she is also quick enough to cover more than just the point guard position; she can cover several positions. Considering her size, she can crash the boards and grab rebounds with ease. Able to finish at the rim and not afraid of contact. Jumps to #35.
