They are going to be a team that dominates the forward matchups in most cases, with that being said they are going to have to push the ball and run the floor as they don’t have the tallest group out there but will make up for it with other positions on the court. If they can beat teams who have a solid inside presence then watch out because this squad is going to dominate this season.

Roster
Lengthy and Athletic. Possesses good skill with the ball all over the floor. Has the ability to dribble and get to the rim or pull up for a jumper at any moment. Works hard on defense. Can get a stop for her team when needed. Positive player who communicates well with her teammates.
Quick guard with a lot of heart. Relentless attacker of the defense while trying to score or create for others. Crafty near the hoop once she beats her initial defender. Has a high basketball IQ. Controls tempo and pace of the game at a consistent rate at the point guard position.
Game changing talent. Player who can do it all on both sides of the floor at an elite level. Fantastic overall post game by the hoop while having the ability to bring the ball outside. Can score at a high rate. Defensively can guard most positions on the floor when a switch occurs. A team player. Just wants everyone to be successful, no matter what she has to do.
Another big time scoring guard for this group. Can fill it up in bunch offensively while having quick hands and feet, creating a lot of steals and deflections on the defensive side of the ball. Solid athleticism. Type of player who can make it “her” game in the blink of an eye. Difference Maker in every sense of the word.
Highlights
Shifty combo guard with solid size for her position. Can handle the ball well. Understands situational basketball better than most at this age level. Consistent finisher at the rim. Moves well from side to side when playing defense against a quicker offensive opponent. Plays with heart and passion, in a controlled way.

Shooter! A fast guard with an even quicker shooting stoke. The type of player that you don’t want them to see one go in early or it could be a long game for your team. Possesses great balance and form while shooting. Solid handle. Moves well off of the ball to get open for her shot. Can change the score of a game in a hurry if you let her.
Overall one of the most well-rounded players on this roster. Has a great act of getting her teammates involved. Rebounds better than most from the guard position. Is pest-y on defense. Is what we call, a stat stuffer. Fills up the score sheets every game in a multitude of ways. Leads from the front when she is on the floor.
Lengthy and Athletic. Nice handling ability when the ball is in her hands. Plays as a longer-sized guard that uses her size to her advantage when she has the change. One of the most dedicated players there is out there. Works hard and is committed to the game. A lot of heart and passion when she takes the court.

Nicely sized at around 5’8 as a freshman. Listed as a combo guard above by me cause that is her ceiling. If she can keep growing and keep her guard skillset, she is going to be a top ranked player in the 2026 class before you know it here in Iowa. Three level scorer who is not afraid of contact. Another player who will be a big time “stat-stuffer” one day for whatever team she plays for. A lot of promise here moving forward.
