Jaeden Pratt Jaeden Pratt 5'10" | CG Ankeny Centennial | 2025 State IA had an impressive outing in her first game of the season vs. Pleasant Valley, who came into the game ranked 5th in Class 5A. Pratt led her team in points (15), assists (3), and steals (5) on Saturday in a game where scoring was at a premium and every possession was critical. Pratt used her length and athleticism to jump into multiple passing lanes and pick the pockets of a few PV ball handlers. The Jags are returning their entire lineup this season, and I predict the Illinois State commit will be a consistent leader for the experienced group again this year.

“Pratt has always displayed next level athleticism and that hasn’t changed for this last tournament of her AAU career. She has demonstrated that she is fast enough to play any position asked of her on either side of the ball while being athletic enough to recover if she ever gets beat off the dribble. I have a feeling she will contribute at the next level with the Redbirds before you know it because of her natural versatility and willingness to adapt. During day 1 of this weekend, she has been a handful for the opposing team to deal with but that’s nothing new if you know her capabilities.”

Jaeden Pratt Jaeden Pratt 5'10" | CG Ankeny Centennial | 2025 State IA of Ankeny Centennial is committed to compete with the Illinois State Redbirds for her collegiate career but before that, she is going to try and make a run with her Jaguar’s team one more time. Pratt is an athletic and lengthy prospect, who plays with a chip on her shoulder. She is the definition of someone that you like to have on your own team but you hate to play against because of her intense demeanor. With the Redbirds, I would assume that she is going to be able to find her niche within that program in a hurry and see the floor early on during her first few years in Bloomington. She is someone that is versatile in what she can do the court, so she will have a chance to step in and play a few different roles deepening on who else is stationed around her. As for this Update, Pratt comes in at our #6 spot prior to her busy month of July with her Kingdom Hoops program. A respectable place for someone being rated in this stacked 2025 Class.

The highest rated and college committed player from this team is Jaeden Pratt Jaeden Pratt 5'10" | CG Ankeny Centennial | 2025 State IA of Ankeny Centennial. Pratt is an Illinois State Women’s Basketball commit and a heck of a basketball player. From everything she has put together over her high school career, I’m sure she is going to get into the Redbirds system and do well. She has natural length and athleticism, not to mention – skill when she touches the ball. Her size helps her move around the floor and produce in a number of different ways. Offensively, she is good enough to catch the ball at the wing and attack off the dribble, she can catch in the middle against a zone and score or create, and she can stand at her team’s PG position to run her team’s offense if need be. When it comes to defense, she is just as good. She can impact a contest with her ability to get a stop or steal and she can rebound at a high rate on both sides of the floor. On this team a good amount of 2026’s playing up, she is going to be someone that everyone looks to when they need a bucket or piece of advice. She has proven that she is a good example for younger players around her so as long as she brings the intensity, she should show out these next few months before her Senior season with the Jaguars this Winter.

Jaeden Pratt Jaeden Pratt 5'10" | CG Ankeny Centennial | 2025 State IA put together a Junior Season that she should be proud of at Ankeny Centennial. She left it all out on the floor each evening and she never settled for anything but being her best when she went out to compete. This AAU season I’m excited to see how she can build on that. Pratt would be considered a Combo Guard for all intents and purposes. She has length, athleticism, and skill to be able to move between the 2, 3, and 4 positions on the hardwood. Over the past three seasons, she has demonstrated that every off-season she is working relentlessly to become a better prospect. So that when her high school career comes to a close, she can look back and say that she left it all out on the floor. Her ability on the offensive side of the ball is impressive to say the least and she works really hard on defense. After her high school career does end, she will be taking her talents to Illinois State so that she can continue on her basketball journey as a Redbird but we still have some time before that becomes a reality so for right now, she is going to take over out #5 spot in this 2025 Player Rankings Update moving into the Spring AAU season.

Over this past 4 months Jaeden Pratt Jaeden Pratt 5'10" | CG Ankeny Centennial | 2025 State IA has received 6 Division-1 offers. I would say that’s pretty good. Pratt had a successful AAU season for her Kingdom Hoops 17U team. With a roster that houses some of the best players in the state, throughout all age groups, it can be easy to get lost in the mix but not for Pratt. She had her full arsenal on display this season to help her team to a successful overall year. My opinion of Pratt’s game has changed overtime as she has grown. She was originally a lengthy player that was able to do some things here and there, then she showed offensively that she has an impressive mixture of length/skill, then she showed me that she can really handle it at her size. When you account for all these things and her constant progression in just over the past 6 months, you are talking about a completely different player. One that is more efficient and confident with the ball in her hands. This AAU season was big for Pratt, she can now take this momentum into her high school season and put together something special. Something I’m excited to see unfold.

Jaeden Pratt Jaeden Pratt 5'10" | CG Ankeny Centennial | 2025 State IA showed off some really impressive skill at the state tournament this year and she is ready to do it all again this AAU season with Kingdom Hoops 17U Elite team. Pratt is a lengthy shooting guard who can score in a number of ways. When I saw her last, she showed off a uniform shooting stroke with fantastic footwork, the ability to put the ball on the floor and get to the rim, and the basketball IQ it takes to be a real competitor against elite competition. Pratt is a well rounded prospect who I’m sure is going to be getting a lot of high level looks over these next few months, especially coming off of the junior year she just put together for her high school season. Keep an eye on Pratt. She is going to be a steal for a successful college out there sometime soon.

Jaeden Pratt Jaeden Pratt 5'10" | CG Ankeny Centennial | 2025 State IA put together quite the successful season as a sophomore for Ankeny Centennial this year with it ending just short of a state championship. Pratt is a long 3 guard who can move from the 2 position all the way to the 5 when needed for her squad. This season she did a really good job of showing off some versatile game play in several different categories on the floor. She did a solid job of scoring the ball at a high rate, defending with tenacity, and grabbing a rebound a good majority of the time. Coming into this rankings update Pratt was #8 player in her class but going into this AAU season she is at the #6 spot, showing subtle but consistent movement up the rankings. If she can keep putting together these seasons while helping her team win and growing her own game then there is no reason she can’t crack the Top 5 in the near future.
