One of those is Carolina All-Stars which is based out of the Triangle. Its teams have already made its presence felt at events such as Phenom Lady Rumble and the Prep Girls Hoops Triumph Region Kickoff in South Carolina. Its teams will be present, as one can expect, when the Deep South Classic takes place in Raleigh.
Steve Morris is the coach of its 16U team which saw several of its players make all-event teams at the Triumph Region Kickoff. Here is a look at his roster.
Alley Wright – Wright earned her way onto the All-16U team from the Triumph Region Kickoff in Spartanburg. She catches plenty of attention with the tough shots she manages to complete.
Meadow Thomas – She is the lone representative from the Rams on this year’s team. Thomas is on one of the 4A ranks’ premier squads as Rolesville finished the 2022-23 campaign with a 25-5 record.
Aiyana Harrison – She is a two-sport athlete whose athletic resume also includes lacrosse. Harrison took to the court on 23 occasions this past season.
Lola Richardson Lola Richardson 6'2" | SF NC GBB | 2026 State NC – Richardson is playing up in class given she is a 2026. At 6-foot-2, she can particularly excel in the rebounding game.
Justice Zimmerman Justice Zimmerman 5'10" | SF NC GBB | 2025 State NC – She has had an emphatic start to her AAU season. Her first season playing at the varsity level was as an eighth grader.
Abigail Bennah – Bennah was another of the standouts that shined at the Triumph Region Kickoff. She was on the 16U Second Team two weeks ago and her Catamounts won last season’s 4A state championship.
Jamee Rose Watson – Watson is also playing up in class given she is a 2026. She logged minutes in 19 games last season as a freshman with the Red Wolves.
Zihanna Lightfoot – She is another one of five who is playing up in class as freshmen. Lightfoot has also participated in track and field events throughout her athletic career.
