Eschmeyer is no longer the state’s best-kept secret the 6’5 lefty can do it all on the court, in which is why she has become one of the best prospects in the nation. This Hoopster team has plenty of names that are capable players, but it seemed to go as far as Alexandra would take them, she didn’t show any weaknesses in her game from an offensive standpoint scoring at all 3 levels with ease. Passing out of double teams and sitting up teammates for great looks taking some of the pressure off of her offensively.
With the transfer in the middle of the year, it took Brooklynn Charlo Brooklynn Charlo 6’0″ | CG Riverdale Ridge | 2025 State CO some time to adjust. Since then, he has been on a tear and has even elevated her game into a dominant force offensively. Being around so much talent gives everyone so much space to operate and Brooklyn took full advantage of it. Getting to her spots of the dribble and knocking shots, she also was great off-ball moving into open spaces making the defense pay when they overhelped.

The first big tournament of the year and Paige Gilpatrick Paige Gilpatrick 6’2″ | PF Broomfield | 2026 CO turned a lot of heads, including some from her own coaching staff. The 6’3 wing caused matchup issues all weekend with opposing teams’ post players. She is way more athletic than she looks making it easy to blow past defenders on her way to the rim. Well defensively changing countless shots at the rim which forced teams to shoot from deep.
D’Ajha Horton D’Ajha Horton 5’10” Rangeview | 2024 CO will be a name that gets mentioned a lot this summer as her game has been on the rise for a while now. Heart of Texas last weekend was an eye-opener for coaches around the world as she was a dominant force for 17U all weekend. During the summer she is able to show off her full game from handling the ball on the wing to scoring from all 3 levels of the floor.
B&B Academy came went to Dallas and proved they’re a team that should be mentioned with the best of them. They went 3-0 in pool play and a lot of that was because of the play of Penny Urquhart Penny Urquhart 5’10” | SG Littleton | 2024 State CO . She put the team on her back all weekend and willed them to victories. Her hot shooting was the biggest part of the team’s success as she knocked down shots from all over the floor. She’s dangerous getting her shots off because of her ability to move off the ball, making her a tough match-up for anybody that is tasked with defending her.
