Lucie Cline Lucie Cline 6'0" | PF Parkersburg South | 2026 State WV , Legends Dragons, W, 5-11, Fr. – Lucie Cline Lucie Cline 6'0" | PF Parkersburg South | 2026 State WV debuts at No. 1 in the 2026 rankings because she harnesses her Division I capability better than anyone on this list. She scores at a high level, and she always plays defense back on the other end. She makes the shooting plays at all three levels and defends a number of different body types successfully. It is hard to imagine college coaches won’t be excited to see this young lady during the spring playing periods.
Reagan Edsell, GTS Fusion 16U, W, 5-10, Fr. – Reagan Edsell came out strong in the initial rankings and she will only be going up from here. Her game is one that best suits itself to getting better over time. Athleticism plus talent plus the desire to get better equals success. And as Edsell continues discovering she can pull of more and more on the basketball court, she’ll become that much better on the hardwood. Maybe, she’ll be playing with an improved shooting game in one contest or maybe she will dominate on the block in the next contest. You really just don’t know what new thing she will be bringing to a court near you. Also, you aren’t going to run her off the court as she is a world-class soccer player.
Nunu Pannell, FTF Thunder, G, 5-6, Fr. – Nunu is a kid whose stock is going to continue to rise as more people get their eyes on her. She’s got great vision at the point guard spot and is strong. When it comes to making those slick passes, she’s going to make them. She’s going to push the ball up the floor in transition or dribble right down the lane for the chance at an and-one. Pannell opens up the floor for her teammates.
Kennedy Stewart Kennedy Stewart 5'5" | PG Greenbrier East | 2026 State WV , FTF Thunder, G, 5-5, Fr. – Kennedy did a great job scoring the basketball for the Greenbrier East Spartans during the regular season. She hasn’t changed up her attack much when playing with the FTF Thunder. Armed with a confidence and strength that you don’t always see coming, she’s hitting some deep treys and getting the most out of her game in the opening tournaments. Using her crafty thinking, she’s creating space for herself and her teammates and then finishing when she’s being asked to finish. She’s easily one of the best shooters in the class.
Ava Dobbins Ava Dobbins 6'4" | C Gilmer County | 2026 State WV , Legends OV Dragons, C, 6-4, Fr. – I got to watch her play several times this year and she reminds me of her cousin and Gilmer County legend Riley Fitzwater. Only she’s further along in her development. When it comes to her offensive game, she’s already much more comfortable receiving an entry pass and then getting to the basket to put up her shot. Sometimes she doesn’t always go up and finish strong, but there are even more times when you can see her finding a way to score and then she scores. On the needs work side, she needs to work on putting the ball on the floor just so she can maneuver around on the block. If she combines her offensive game with sister Ava’s defensive game, we are talking about a player who may just challenge the family record for high school and college points.
