2026 Ranking Update: Centers

You don't see many players with her size and length doing the things she does on the basketball court. Scott is a skilled big that can handle the ball, score from the low post as well as step out and knocked down the three. She averaged 8.4 points along with 5.6 rebounds per game as a freshman this past season for North Hardin. Scott is currently playing for OTP this travel season and has really been turning heads this spring with her ability to impact the game in so many ways. I like her effort on the glass, she is good at locating where the ball will come off the rim and seems to always be in the right position to get the rebound. Clinger runs the floor very well for a big and thrives off of points in transition. She also protects the rim on defense with her shot blocking ability and can score from the inside out. Simpson is tremendous low post scorer that displays excellent footwork on the low block. She's the type of big that can score with her back to the basket and face up to score. The touch she has around the rim is something you cannot teach she's just that gifted. I also like the soft hands when receiving the post entry pass. Simpson averaged 7.3 points and 5.6 rebound per game for Nelson County and expect those number to be much higher next season. She averaged 8.6 points a game along with 6.3 rebounds for the Lady Lions this past season. Howard loves to compete and play hard on both ends of the floor. She can put up points on offense and protect the rim on defense with her size and length.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
