I think this will really help give everyone a better idea of who to watch out for this summer, leading into the season this winter. Enjoy!

Halle Dolliver Halle Dolliver 5’10” | CG Malcolm | 2026 State NE last season was unstoppable on the offensive side of the floor. A player that could handle the ball and attack the hoop when pressured, spot up from anywhere on the floor for a jumper, or work in the mid-range if given a moment. She had all of this on display each and every game last season, letting everyone know that she is going to be a top player throughout the state of Nebraska over the next 3 years. Although her scoring ability is in a league of its own compared to most around her Dolliver is a team player. Someone who will get the ball to an open teammate when she has too much pressure on herself, truly looking for the best shot for her team. Catch Dolliver compete this upcoming summer and when the season starts this winter for high school ball, she is exciting to watch.
#2. Ayanna Hill – Omaha North High School
Ayanna Hill
Ayanna Hill
Ayanna Hill put a stamp on her freshman year at Omaha North high school. Hill averaged 15.3 PPG, 4.5 RPG, and 3.1 APG while trying to help lead her team throughout the season to some success. Hill, a 5’10 shooting guard, is an overall prospect that has some promise. She moves well on and off of the ball, can score at a higher rate then most from behind the arc and at the rim, but most importantly she can be a game changer without having the ball in her hands at all times. She worries about the small details and that fairs well for her from what the stat line is saying. This upcoming winter Hill will look use all of her offseason work in attempts to help her Omaha North high school team turn the page from last season, hoping to finish the year with an above .500 record. Records don’t mean much in high school in the grand scheme of the athlete but Hill is a talent that is good enough to help turn things around. It’s just a matter of time.
#3. Miley Pikes – Santee High School
Miley Pikes
Miley Pikes
Miley Pikes stepped up as a freshman and really put together a year that she can build on moving forward. Pikes is an interesting prospect. A player that obviously understands how to score but brings so many other things to the floor. With her size and athleticism she is very good on defense and anything that has to do with physicality. She moves well side-to-side and can cover ground in a hurry. I would like to add that due to no fault of her own, if Pikes competed at a school that had more games to be played, her numbers maybe a little different overall. With her high school team only competing in 15 games this past season, who knows what she could of done with more time on the court. Either way, Pikes is a promising prospect on both the basketball court and volleyball court, it’ll be interesting how she grows over these next few seasons and what she becomes even better at.
#4. Aubrey Russell Aubrey Russell 5'7" | PG Winside | 2026 NE – Winside High School

Aubrey Russell Aubrey Russell 5'7" | PG Winside | 2026 NE
Aubrey Russell Aubrey Russell 5’7″ | PG Winside | 2026 NE came in for her freshman year and was given some significant minutes right off the bat. Minutes that were used to help show everyone that she is going to be the leader of this program over the next few seasons and there is no doubt about it. Russell, a 5’7 guard, is a threat in a couple categories. She is a very good scorer of the ball, while at the same time being very good at rebounding over most other guards that are in the paint. From watching Russell I can say that she works hard and has a high motor on the glass that doesn’t give up, leading to a lot of easy buckets for herself and her team. I expect the same type of season this winter from Russell. She is going to come in, give it her all, and try to do whatever it takes to win. Something that you have to respect as an opposing competitor.
#5. Baliee Durant – South Sioux City
Baliee Durant
Baliee Durant
Strong. Crafty. Quick Thinking. These are all phrases that would be appropriate to describe Baliee Durants game. Durant is a strong power forward with decent size for that position. Over the next few seasons I see Durant moving to the 3 spot or combo guard position. She is very athletic and she will have the ability to spread the floor more frequently as she gets older. Currently, she really dominates near the hoop in transition or off of a rebound. She recorded about 5 rebounds per game last season for her freshman year but most of those rebounds led to scoring opportunities in one way or another for her team. Looking forward the ceiling for Durant is high. She is physically gifted with some good coordination already. By the time she gets to being an upperclassman, she is going to be a serious problem for defenses.
