This kid can flat out shoot the basketball and she plays the game with the confidence to go with it. She is absolutely fearless when she toes the 3-point line with the 2026 Shoreshots. Katie has a quick release and does not need a lot of space to get her shot off. She gets to shooting spots and catches ready to shoot the ball. If close outs come to hard, she will capably put it on the deck and finish with a deadly midrange game or floater in the pain. She is an opportunistic defender and gets out fast in transition. Along with sister Tessa Liggio Tessa Liggio 5’7″ | PG Red Bank Catholic | 2026 State NJ , Addison Nyemchek Addison Nyemchek 6’1″ | CG Red Bank Catholic | 2026 State NJ , Sophie Smith Sophie Smith 6’2″ | PF Red Bank Catholic | 2026 State NJ , Daniela Maletsky Daniela Maletsky 5’10” | SG Red Bank Catholic | 2026 State NJ and Lola Giordano Lola Giordano 5’8″ | PG Red Bank Catholic | 2026 State NJ she was a big part of the best freshman class in NJ at Red Bank Catholic.
A true floor general. Tessa controls the game with the ball in her hands. She gets in the paint and makes great decisions. She can finish at the rim or with a strong floater game and if the shot isn’t there, she finds one of the many shooters spotted up on the perimeter. She is just as comfortable spotting up and stroking the 3 as she is engineering the offense. What I love most about Tessa is how she pushes tempo in transition and is always looking to advance the ball with the pass to create easy buckets for her 2026 Shoreshots teammates. A huge part of the ridiculously talented Red Bank Catholic Freshman class.
Addy uses her tremendous length to finish in the paint with an array of moves. An exceptional and creative passer in the halfcourt, she uses fantastic vision and court awareness to routinely set up her 2026 Shoreshots teammates for layups. She goes hard in transition and off the bounce in the halfcourt and has an outstanding pull up game. As her 3-point shot continues to improve, Addy will be a matchup nightmare for any defense she faces. Defensively, her length and IQ gives her the ability to blow up offenses. She understands angles and gets her hands in passing lanes and those turnovers turn into layups at the other end. Probably the most highly sought after member of the loaded Red Bank Catholic Class of 2026.
Another talented member of the 2026 Shoreshots, Brooke is always one of the toughest players on the floor. She mixes it up inside, attacks the boards and is always fighting for loose balls. She works hard defensively and is always ready to slide in and help. Offensively, she gets downhill hard when she gets the ball and looks to take it to the rim. Brooke is not afraid to pass up a shot to get her team a better shot and delivers the ball to good spots. Solid shooter out to the 3-point line she should make a huge jump in her sophomore year playing alongside Jada Lynch Jada Lynch 5’11” | SG St. Rose | 2026 State NJ and the rest of an always tough and well coached St. Rose team.
