Rush is on the move up in the rankings and to downtown Charleston next year. Ava recently transferred over to First Baptist for next fall. Rush played this past season at Oceanside Collegiate in Mount Pleasant.
Rush a long and rangy small forward plays her best basketball out on the perimeter. She has the ability to knockdown shots from mid-range to out to the three-point line. Ava moves well without the ball and always remains active on the floor.
Highlights
Wallace had a good spring with Upward Stars Upstate squad. Prep Girls Hoops first saw Rihanna play when she was just a 7th grader play. Wallace really likes to play going to the cup. She’s relentless with her play to the bucket and brings a lot of determination. Rihanna is really good in the open court and likes to push the tempo.
Harris made an impact as a freshman for the Lady Indians this season. Shiriah can play-inside out on the floor. She can step-out and knockdown jumpers or finish around the cup on putbacks. Shiriah looks to play aggressive on both ends of the floor at all times. She can slash the basketball to the cup. Shiriah can pile up some points in a hurry at times with her play.
Braddick is a RAW talent down in the paint. Dyarri a left-handed post player has the ability to challenge and alter shots on the defensive end of the floor. She currently is better on the defensive side of the floor than on the offensive side. Braddick keeps the ball up high after claiming it off the class. She plays at a small Class 1A school south of Charleston on John’s Island.
Highlights
Blackwell made some good strides this spring on the Grassroots circuit with the SC Eagles White. Devyn looks to play inside the paint and work from side to side on the block. She constantly plays the game in hustle mode and works for position down low. Devyn has a good motor to play ends of the floor while staying active at all times.
Lee likes to slash to the basket whenever she gets the opportunity. Aaliyah a left-handed wing player will look to leak out in transition for cheapies at times. She likes to attack the baseline on the way to the bucket. Aaliyah plays up a age group with her IDreams 16U squad.
