Guards poised for big time 2023-24 seasons.

However, here are a few guards who have done an excellent job of carrying momentum from early spring on throughout the summer. Yarbrough is a 3-level scorer who has range as far as, if not further, than any other player that I've personally covered. Yarbrough is an underrated athlete with a good handle. This allows her to get wherever she wants offensively. Blankinchip continues to get better at just about every aspect of the game of basketball which is scary considering she is already usually the most competitive player out on the court. Hames holds school records and is on pace to break even more. Hames game starts from behind the arc, but her  deadly accurate ability from deep opens up her game and allows her score from wherever. She truly emulates what we are seeing in modern day point guards at the highest level, and what I mean by that is that she can flat our score the basketball seemingly however she wants. Don't get me wrong, Franklin is a more than capable playmaker as well. However, her abilty to handle, create and make difficult shots, and her athleticism, make her near unguardable at times.
