After every event they name the Player of the Game, which can be an early look at some players to watch come high school season. Let’s take a look at who was named Player of the Game from the last Summer Tune Up matchup.
Natalya Stojcevski
Natalya Stojcevski
Stojcevski was excellent in a 49-36 team win against Roseville. She finished the game with 10 total points. Stojcevski took smart shots and was very efficient from the field in the Summer Tune Up. If she can keep up this level of play it’ll be huge for her team. Another consistent scoring option will be a very big deal.
Seaholm defeated Cros-Lex in a close and highly contested game with a final score of 37-33. Flynn was huge in the game for Seaholm, chipping in with an eye=popping 22 points. She showed that she will be able to put up some big point totals this season and had the look of a player ready to be a go-to offensive option.
Mackenzy Dennison
Mackenzy Dennison
Cros-Lex got on the winning end of things with a 47-31 win against Utica Ford. Dennison was very impressive in that game. She a junior with big game experience that will be extremely valuable to her Cros-Lex team. Dennison has made big plays on both ends of the floor and looked ready to do it again this season at the Summer Tune Up. She finished the game with 8 points.
Isabella Edwards
Isabella Edwards
Edwards was also named a Player of the Game in Cros-Lex’s win at the Summer Tune Up. She scored 8 points in the game. Edwards could be a player to watch with breakout season capabilities. She’s a really solid all around athlete that moves well on the court. Edwards is a name to remember as we head towards high school season.
