Last Wednesday, we released the Summer rankings update for the Class of 2025. The number of prospects listed grew from 160 to 175 total prospects, and while the Top-75 remained a Top-75, the 85-player watchlist became a 100-player watchlist. At this time, I wanted to highlight all of the centers in the Class of 2025 we have listed at this time, as well as highlight a handful of ladies who were newly added this time around.

NEW-COMERS:
Anna is a nice multisport athlete, she plays with a good motor, and she’s an aggressive, physical front-liner, who isn’t afraid of getting inside and battling girls bigger than her. She is an effective rebounder who can box out or pursue boards outside of her area. She also possesses good hands and solid footwork, and she figures out ways to score inside. She has shown the ability to knock down the mid-post jumper as well, and she works hard at coming out on the floor to defend ball screens/switches.
Emma hasn’t played many Varsity minutes, but 2023-2024 could be that year. She continues to grow and gain strength, and she looks about two inches taller than when I saw her a Summer ago. She is a solid athlete in most directions, and she certainly works hard when she’s in the game. She is more of an interior player who will rebound and defend the paint with effort. If she can continue to work on her skillset facing the basket, especially in the mid-post, then she could be a nice small college prospect.
Caroline is another 2025 front-liner who could impact the Varsity level for the first time this coming season. She has broad shoulders, a fairly strong frame, but she’s also a hard-working kid who is a solid North/South athlete. She will rim-run with effort, and she has good hands and can catch & finish in transition. Caroline has also flashed the ability in the past to knock down open jumpers, whether that be in the mid-post or near the 3-point line. Additionally, she is a nice help-side defender.
Saniah is a powerfully built front-liner who loves to play with physicality, but she can also flash some skill at all three levels. Inside, she seeks contact, moves opponents, and she has soft hands and can finish around the basket in different ways. In the mid-post, she has some touch, but she can also take a dribble and get to the basket. She is still developing her perimeter game, but she does handle it solidly and tries to make dribble-moves against pressure. She recently transferred in from Homestead.
Emerson is incredibly intriguing, and depending on how much time she puts in working on her game, she could rise up the rankings quickly. She is one of the longest prospects in the state, she is a fairly fluid athlete in all directions, but she will absolutely need to continue building her strength. With that said, she is skilled facing the basket. She is most effective in the mid-post where she has great touch, and she pursues rebounds well. She can also defend forwards and posts with versatility.
Layla is another post prospect who transferred into her current high school from Homestead this Summer. She has broad shoulders, long arms & legs, and she runs the floor well North/South. She could still stand to build some strength in her core and work on playing lower to the ground, using her length, but she has grown in the past couple of years and is just figuring it all out. She is likely going to be more of a back-to-the-basket post for a little while, but she has shown flashes of a mid-post game.
