[player_tooltip player_id='544984' first='Avery' last='McCorry'], 5'9", SF/SG, Bishop Carroll - The top advancer in the class, McCorry jumped 19 spots to #16. Among the large group of returners, and a consistent scoring threat, for the class 5A state runner up, McCorry's game continues to mature. In one word she can be described as versatile. From transition speed and game to beat backcourt pressure and go end-to-end, to working over defenders from the wing off the dribble or cut, to perimeter shooting under pressure with range she has the confidence and ability to make a defensive hiccup turn into a score. She brings good size to the position, assisting with her ability to finish at speed and create good angles for interior passing. Playing for her dad Evan on [program_tooltip program_id='716118' first='Next' last='Level Eclipse'], she is part of a group of players (which include a couple other Carroll teammates) who like the running game and execute transition play well.

[player_tooltip player_id='544023' first='Kierrah' last='Pinchon'], 5'11", PF, Garden City - 'KJ' has picked up her game immensely during the latter half of the summer after rejoining Gameball Fusion. And that effort and rededication has caused her to ramp up 15 spots to #27. Pinchon brings good overall size and wingspan and a terrific turnaround jumper (arguably the best in the state) that she uses to great affect on the boards. She has strength and handles to clear the ball well, go end-to-end, and work in the backcourt against full and three-quarter court pressure. Pinchon is a high potential player who could easily climb higher if her game continues to diversity and mature.

[player_tooltip player_id='351760' first='Asia' last='Lee'], 5'9", PG, Olathe North - Lee's game has grown immensely since I saw her run into a buzz saw, ferocious '25 Missouri guard at the PGH Top 250 event last October in Shawnee that was a pure "welcome to high school basketball" moment.. Even in that situation I saw quickness, perimeter shooting ability, and effective use of cuts off screens. Since then she has turned up the gas on her game, exploding with handles and scoring ability that has included hanging serious points on older potential recruits at major college elite camps. Moving into the top ten by climbing 8 spots to #3 I expect to see more D I offers emerge over the upcoming year.

[player_tooltip player_id='544010' first='Deena' last='Holmes'], 6'2", PF, Wichita Independent - Holmes is a rawly talented, fast, shot blocker whose play with the B2B [program_tooltip program_id='712424' first='Kansas' last='Bluejays'] 17U team at the PGH Circuit [program_tooltip program_id='713097' first='Dynasty' last=''] Finals really was a pleasant surprise. A key returner for a the 2A state tournament appearing ....., if she grows and broadens her game on both ends of the floor, she will emerge as one of the top players in the classification quickly. Climbing 5 spots to #26, she has terrific hops to go with a broad wingspan that enables her to easily get to rebounds by an elbow or more. Her shot blocking and quick elevation to rebound are evidence of her quickness afoot. She will be really difficult, just on her build and athleticism alone, to stop inside for teams that cannot match her with quickness and strength.
