Most of these players will be on the Top 100 plus for Prep Girls Hoops Texas, some will make my initial 2027 Watch List that I’m dropping after the Texas Freshman Showcase in Carrolton on September 9th, please use COLSONPGH2023 for DISCOUNT and always remember, no one knows more about what’s relevant in this which has become a mess than I do, check out my WEBSITE and BLOG and always remember #ThereIsNoMe so here ya go
Burns continues to elevate her game on both ends of the court, yes, she can drop the long ball but watching her mix it up to score off the dribble as well as dropping the midrange has helped make her more of a threat. She has improved with reading the mismatch and using her size and strength to overpower smaller players and she’s rebounding and handling the ball in the open court afterward

Read’s improvement this season alone has been special for me as I think back to watching her I guess 3 years ago when I dropped that famous #D1Lock on her and when you show me “poise under pressure” while playing up and contributing, well I just know so her ability to control the tempo has certainly been a treat for me to see. Her court vision, peep this, throwing on the money passes 20 plus feet aways going full speed, with hand is something I don’t see many guards heading to college doing. She also scores off the dribble and well as mid to long-range

Roberts has improved her game from just being known as a 3 point shooter to somewhat of a “nightmare to defend” scorer and here’s why. She has the handles to attack off the dribble, with either hand, yet she also has shown she can finish with either, after contact because of her body control. Don’t get it twisted, range has gotten deeper, she’s dropping it off screens as well as showing the “catch and shoot” plus her court vision adds more to her impressive set of skills

Teuton falls into that #sizedontmatter category because she can flat out play. She goes hard on both ends, her pressure defense “on the ball” helps to create turnovers and after the steal, she can hit teammates in the open court or keep the ball and attack the basket to score, well she can also dish off the dribble. She plays within herself, she understands how to get hers in the flow, yet she also creates her shot under pressure to drop the mid to long range jumper
