[player_tooltip player_id='728006' first='Ayumi' last='Ishikawa'] | 5'4 G | Streamwood - Ishikawa has a solid set of tools that allows her to play at good pace. Solid handle and her release beyond the arc seems pure and effortless.

Shantia Birth | 5'6 G | East Aurora - A hustle player who seemed to be a magnet towards each rebound that was near her. Scrappy and tough on the defensive end as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='735030' first='Alyssa' last='Borzych'] | 5'7 G | Huntley - Alyssa runs the floor, hustles back on defense and was always in position to make plays on the defensive side. She can hurt you from the outside as well.

Kaitlyn Weaver | 5'5 G | Lincoln Way West - Weaver is up close and personal when she's in defensive mode. She shows hands, moves her feet well and never seemed to drop her when a bucket fell through against her.

Maura Crimmins| 5'6 G | Willows Academy - Defensively, Crimmins was a tough deal to get by for most players. She has some strength to her, and plays the game with tons of aggression.

Alanna Morehead | 5'7 G | Jefferson - Moreheads game seemed to pick up as the day went on. Her confidence and energy to keep going even after some plays didn't go her way.

[player_tooltip player_id='515523' first='Iris' last='Jordan'] | 5'9 W | Rolling Meadows - A knockdown shooter who is active on every possession. Crashes the boards, communicates on defense, and has a knack to make the right decision.

Leilani Posada | 5'3 G | St Charles North - A tough defender who consistently made good plays throughout the game. She plays with great tempo and never seems rattled after a miss.

Payton Kemeny | 5'2 G | Fremd - I loved the way Kennedy played defense. She sits low, moves her feet and has the discipline to keep her head on swivel but not lose her assignment. Even after losing a couple battles she remained focused and determined.

[player_tooltip player_id='616679' first='Lilyan' last='Sizemore'] | 5'6 G | Gibson City Melvin - My first choice of standout player of the day.. Sizemore was just impressive from start to finish. Great footwork on both sides of the court, strong IQ, and always seemed to have a positive impact on each possession.
