Here at Prep Girls Hoops WA, we try to get out updated rankings four times a year. These are all players who were completely missed in previous rankings. They are also all players who won't be left off again. Two were state championa, and the rest all have qualities that belong in the rankings. Keep in mind, these are just a few that we missed.

There are lots of names that will be there in the updates, which will start at the end of August. Class of 2024 will come first, with each of the other three coming a week after one another. All the way down to the class of 2027. Freshman, don't forget, the showcase in Bellevue will be a great way to get seen by our scouts. August 26th. You can use discount code - PratherPGH2023 at the registration page. That works for all Prep Girls Hoops WA TOURNAMENTS. Also keep in mind, it is by no means the only tool we use. We try to follow players year round as much as possible.

[player_tooltip player_id='730377' first='Rowen' last='Bennett'] - 5'10 - F - Inglemoor - 2024
Rowen is a great defensive player who can really move for a frontcourt player. She moves the feet and has good speed and hands. She's an active player who does a lot of things that may go will unnoticed. She should be fairly easy to notice next season and a player who looks to jump into the updated rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='730311' first='Chesah' last='Holmes'] - 6'0 - C - Burlington Edison -- 2025
A first team All league performer last season on a state tournament runner up team. That should be enough to make it into the rankings. I can tell you it will be enough come late August for the 2024 version of updated rankings. Her teammate, [player_tooltip player_id='730348' first='Annalise' last='Slotemaker'] has to be mentioned as well. She had a good post-season and was solid all year long. Burlington Edison has been state 2A runner-up two years in a row. They will no doubt be a team looking to unseat Ellensburg. A team who hasn't lost in two years and beat Burlington Edison in both the last two title games in class 2A.

[player_tooltip player_id='730334' first='Audrey' last='Lucas'] - Meadowdale - 6'0 - C - 2025
Audrey might not score as much as teammate [player_tooltip player_id='649102' first='Gia' last='Powell'] but not many do. She is, however, capable of scoring with some skills on the block and otherwise. She has already put herself in the double double category last season and should continue to build a case for a rankings riser. From what I saw watching her over the summer, she definitely has a place reserved for the updated version, which should be the first week of September or thereabouts.

[player_tooltip player_id='730355' first='Krista' last='Kristoff'] - 6'0 - SF - Eastlake - 2024
When you win a state title as a contributor like she was with her length and versatility. That should be enough for a spot in the rankings. It was not and it is safe to say we missed. She will play a big role for another really talented Eastlake team led by [player_tooltip player_id='398493' first='Sofia' last='Aluas'], and [player_tooltip player_id='398494' first='Tatum' last='Wood']. Wood is undoubtedly making a big jump in the rankings. Aluas sits pretty high, but you could make the case it's not high enough. Krista has made her case and will likely play her way up in the 2024 season as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='730378' first='Darcy' last='McCoy'] - 5'9 - PG - Eastlake - 2024
When you win a state title and contribute 5 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists per game during the season that should get you into the rankings. It did not and that's one we missed. Not to worry, Eastlake has our attention. She will likely be one of the primary ball handling guards, if not the primary point guard. Something she does well along with being able to knock down open looks.
