Something about these events that people should consider is that there are many calls refs don’t make in the spirit of letting the games move faster. This affected Labrea a lot, especially early on. She drove to the rim and fought through contact, which were clear fouls, resulting in a handful of turnovers early. But over time, you could see her start to find her groove and showcase her talent. Labrea can handle the ball and has a smooth-looking jump shot. She is a skilled driver and an overall gifted offensive talent.
Ava Sewall Ava Sewall 5’9″ | SG The Potomac School | 2026 State VA is skilled and versatile on offense. She can create for herself and others well and excel as the offense’s vocal point. Today, she played off the ball a lot and showed off her shooting ability, knocking down shots from range. She is a fantastic scorer and a smooth left-handed scorer.
Highlights
Eleanor knocked down many threes on the day and was one of the better offensive players I saw. She has a quick release, and even though she knocked down a couple early, I didn’t see her start putting up bad shots. She was also solid on defense and someone I felt was underrated coming in.
Highlights
Lauren Priester Lauren Priester 5’4″ | PG Grassfield HS | 2026 State VA drove aggressively to the rim all day and finished well over bigger defenders. She handles the ball well and knocks down open jump shots. I’ve watched Lauren play a couple of times, and her commitment to getting to the rim always impresses me.
