A very athletic combo guard that can even at can play all wing positions. Plays hard all the time, a true down hill scorer that can use her body to get to the basket. Her points came from all three levels including from 3 point range and the offensive glass as well. Very unselfish that will probably be a more consistent scorer at the next level!

Good size for a shooting guard with combo guard ability. Ava is a good athlete that can defend multiple positions on the defensive end. Ava does a great job of attacking the rim on her way to the rim. Has a good first step towards the basket an keeps defenders on her hip as she attacks cup. Good player with a lot of upside that will a player that will even get better in college.

Ava has solid size and athleticism for a combo guard and it allows her to make plays on the offensive and defensive side of the floor. She does a good job on the transition offense moving the ball up the floor to get her shot. She has a nice hesitation move to get to the rim to get by defenders. She really still has a high ceiling and already has offers; she is a type player that will get even better when she gets to college!

Has been one of the more consistent players in the 2026 class! Ava is a good overall player that does a little bit of everything for her team. Over the years she has shown that she can be a playmaker with the ball in her hands. A consistent three level score by expanded her game to the three point line. Good athlete that moves her feet well and can be a good scheme fit for any college at the next level!

Is a good combo guard who can score the ball in a variety of ways. She handles it with poise and has a great feel for the game as well. She sees the floor well to be able to create for herself and her teammates and is solid off the ball as well as she is always down and ready to make a play or score it with consistency.

transferred to Potomac School after spending her first couple of years playing for Annandale. This transfer is huge for Ava because she goes from carrying a struggling Annadale squad to being on one of the better teams in NOVA. Ava gives this team another scoring option in the backcourt. She is a knockdown shooter and can play with or without the ball. It’s great to see Ava in a position where she will get more eyes on her playing on a talented squad playing against elite competition.

Is now at the Potomac School always been a consistent player. With this jump to a new high school Ava now can show her talents against better competition. Great size for a guard who is a playmaker and contributes to a game other than scoring. She brings solid size and athleticism to the two-guard spot but has now developed combo guard skills. Heading into her junior season this year still with a high upside she will definitely benefit with more exposure during the high school season already holding a division 1 offer!

has been stuck on an Annadale team that has struggled the past few years. Her transfer to Potomac School is an excellent move for her. Potomac School is missing another perimeter shot creator, and Ava fills that need terrifically. I saw her shooting ability and offensive prowess at DMVlive in flashes. She did not shoot the ball to her standard, but it was easy to see what she would provide for this offense. She won’t be asked to carry an offense anymore, and this move will allow more people to get eyes on her. This Potomac School squad will be one of the best offenses in NOVA and will be a fun team to watch.

the sharpshooter from Annandale is now at the Potomac School and they look to have something special brewing for the 2024-25 season. Ava averaged 12 points and 6 boards for the tournament. She should play a big role this year as she won’t be needing to carry the team.

Ava Sewall is a really talented player who, even with a high ranking, has yet to get the attention she may deserve. This is mainly because she played on a struggling Annandale squad the past two years. Ava is taking her talent to a loaded Potomac School squad next year, and I’m excited to see what improvements she makes. She is going to be playing with better talent, but she will also be playing against better talent.
