It has been a challenge sorting through scouting notes on nearly 120 players who participated at Sunday's Prep Girls Hoops Freshmen Showcase in Hopkins. We knew it would be a chore, which is why we've broken down the evaluations on a team-by-team basis this time around. The response to this approach has been quite positive so far. Here's what we liked from the athletes on Teams #9 and #10.

TOP PERFORMERS

[player_tooltip player_id='764210' first='Livia' last='Tennessen'] – There were plenty of big names at the Freshmen Showcase who performed to expectations, including a few we've highlighted below. Livia, on the other hand, came into the event as a relative unknown, but the 5'7 guard from Cannon Falls and [program_tooltip program_id='712362' first='Legacy' last='Hoops'] (pictured above) left a solid impression on our scouts. Tennessen is quick and active. She played with a ton of energy and earned hustle points from start to finish. She is effective off the bounce and finished very well against bigger players, scoring 10 of her team's first 20 points in one game we watched. She can also shoot it. Livia is utterly fearless and that will carry you a long way. Let's just say we are intrigued.

[player_tooltip player_id='578467' first='Amisha' last='Ramlall'] – While Livia was making a great first impression, Amisha's performance on Sunday was business as usual. The good news is her usual is really, really good. Ramlall sets the standard in the Class of 2027 for shooting from distance. Even when the shots aren't falling it always looks like they are going to. The 5'10 guard is coming off a stellar AAU season in which she was named Prep Girls Hoops AAU Newcomer of the Year and led the [program_tooltip program_id='712687' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] to a state championship. Amisha's overall skillset is impressive. She's confident with the ball, makes great decisions, moves very well and always seems to execute the smart play.

[player_tooltip player_id='659117' first='Delaney' last='Dumermuth'] – A teammate of Ramlall with the Fury this summer, Delaney played a key role in her AAU squad's success on both sides of the ball. The 5'10 guard is well put together with plenty of size and strength. She is very skilled with nice handles and the ability to make shots from a variety of locations on the court. Dumermuth does all of the fundamental stuff really well, setting great screens and cutting well, rebounding hard and consistently, and defending with poise and passion. Again on Sunday we saw this quality all-around prospect making great reads and good choices.

[player_tooltip player_id='654990' first='Kayla' last='Stork'] – The 5'8 guard from Byron and the Minnesota Rise has an awful lot in common with Dumermuth. She has all of the fundamentals in place to be effective, from core athleticism and pace to learned skills such as ball handling and shooting ability. Stork has the attacker's mentality, too, and isn't afraid to make the big play. She's just so versatile and does so many things well, much of which goes unnoticed, and her basketball IQ is excellent. Stork anticipates well, takes what the game gives her, and can guard opponents of all descriptions. What makes it all work so well together is her consistent level of effort, which is impressive. We've come to expect a lot from Stork and she delivered once again.

[player_tooltip player_id='630244' first='Jazmin' last='Daing'] – We never get tired of watching Jazmin play and Sunday was no exception. She is just so incredibly gifted. At at least 6'1 the Rochester John Marshall 9th grader has tons of length and everything she does comes across so naturally. She has also put the work in to become a great ball handler and a quality shooter. Her first step one-on-one is deadly. Combined with some of the longest strides around ,she's going to get by her defender more often than not. We liked what we saw from Daing on the PGH Circuit this summer as she played two years up with [program_tooltip program_id='714562' first='FBC' last='North'] and excelled against older players. We liked what we saw from her on Sunday, as well.

STOCK RISERS

[player_tooltip player_id='764195' first='Gracey' last='Brown'] – The 5'7 guard from Minnetonka took a little while to get going on Sunday morning but when she did it was impressive. Gracey has a strong, athletic build with quick feet, nice lateral movement and an explosive move to the basket. She was constantly on the attack and practically dared defenders to get in her way en route to the target where she finished well. Defensively she showed nice anticipation and a ton of hustle.

[player_tooltip player_id='659120' first='Alise' last='Schoenrock'] – The big post player from Royalton and the [program_tooltip program_id='767539' first='Minnesota' last='Comets'] is listed at 6 feet but she looks much bigger than that. With a sizable frame and a ton of strength, Alise is very well put together to play in the paint at both ends of the floor. She is a strong rebounder who knows how to do battle inside. Her skills have come a long way this year and she is learning to be more patient with the basketball around the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='656983' first='Tessa' last='Frank'] – The 5'7 guard from Wayzata is deceptively quick and oh so crafty. We were impressed with Frank's play this summer on behalf of Minnesota Stars Antl where she always seemed to be making a key play at the right time. Her tool box is pretty big. After a well-earned break following the AAU season to attend summer camp, the highly skilled 9th grader returned to action at the Freshmen Showcase looking better than ever.

OTHERS WHO STOOD OUT

[player_tooltip player_id='595199' first='Maya' last='Kilian'] of New Prague is difficult to miss. At 6 feet and lengthy, with nice athleticism and ease of movement, the gifted wing made her presence felt throughout the day. So did shifty guard [player_tooltip player_id='734360' first='Gigi' last='Coleman'] of Southwest Christian who has nice handles and quick feet. She showed off her smooth Eurostep, ability to finish through contact, and a knack for creating space off the dribble. Crafty guard [player_tooltip player_id='594874' first='Ashley' last='Fitzgibbons'] of Big Lake did a lot of nice work with the basketball, as well, and reminded all involved that she can definitely shoot it.

A trio of Northerners showed off their skills on the big stage led by 5'7 guard [player_tooltip player_id='665721' first='Peyton' last='Walker'] of Proctor. She used her speed and athleticism to great effect on both sides of the ball. 5'3 guard [player_tooltip player_id='764217' first='Morgan' last='Lucero'] of Duluth Marshall is deceptively quick and can shoot it. Big post [player_tooltip player_id='764223' first='Paige' last='Norman'], also out of Duluth Marshall, used her size and strength to rebound effectively. One more player who deserves a mention is [player_tooltip player_id='759866' first='Samantha' last='Bennett'] of New Life Academy and [program_tooltip program_id='756457' first='Opportunity' last='Basketball']. The 5'9 freshman moves quite well, is a quality passer, and she can definitely shoot the three.
