As the high school season ramps up, I believe Jackson is in a situation that will show her ability to be a distributor just as much as as a dominant scorer. Being the focal point of an offense requires you to play the game at a different pace.. so your fatigue doesn’t burn out from putting it all on your shoulders. She had a great summer with Example and even earned an invite to the Under Armour Steph Curry Camp that hosted tons of high level players. Destiny has shown to be the number 1 player in this class.
Less of a drop down and more of a “time is needed to see if the skillset will translate seamlessly. Highlights
The pure point era has been on a decline, and Aubrey seems to be the last of that breed. When you add the “headphones in” play style, the aggression on defense, the amazing amount of stamina she possesses.. you understand why the offers are there even with a “undersized” title. She sees the game a frame before it plays out, she enjoys the game, but she does a have a killer instinct that is hidden behind the feed first mentality. The offseason move to Loyola will be fun to watch this year.
The Utah commit has had the eyes of scouts and college coaches on her for quite awhile, and her size and tempo based play style are key to that. At the next level she should see time as a 1 guard, but her scoring ability will allow her to be impactful at the 2 spot as well. Ella has great length, and a killer mindset that goes unnoticed due to her quiet approach. She can score in a multitude of ways, and defensively she can cause problems for multiple positions. With a loaded Fremd team, Todd will be head of the train on a possible state title run.
A true combo guard who has been extremely effective in both roles as a guard. Kerstein can score the ball with the best of them, and can run a team with the best of them as well. The handle is strong, the vision is crystal clear and the toughness is present as well. Montini is used to having high caliber players, and this year another one has been added. This season will be fun to watch, and for Nikki to show another level to her game.
