Junior [player_tooltip player_id='255967' first='Cokey' last='Suddeth'] did everything possible to keep her Palmetto Christian Academy Lady Eagles squad in the game vs Porter Gaud. Palmetto Christian Academy lost a close one 42-40 to Porter Gaud on Sunday afternoon. Cokey finished with 30 points according to my unofficial stats here today. Suddeth was looking to drive the ball to the basket or simply knockdown the short jumper from time to time. Cokey collected several points from the foul line with her ability to absorb contact on the way to the bucket.

The Porter Gaud Lady Cyclones have a new Head Coach in Chris Evans. Evans takes over for longtime head coach Kevin Ziman. The Lady Cyclones got strong play from [player_tooltip player_id='460544' first='Perry' last='Chambers'] here today in a win over Palmetto Christian Academy. Chambers a long and rangy forward really likes to play her game face-up to the basket. Perry was able to challenge shots on the defensive end of the floor at times. She really likes to handle the rock 1-2 dribbles from the top of the key to the cup.

Left-handed forward [player_tooltip player_id='459607' first='Leah' last='Creaturo'] finished with 8 points in the win. Creaturo plays her best basketball close to the cup for the Lady Cyclones. She was able to finish a few baskets around the rim here today. Left-handed shooting guard MacKenzie Sellers finished with 8 points while junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='460545' first='Grayson' last='Hariri'] chipped in with 6 points in the win.

The Lady Generals defeated John Paul II on Sunday afternoon 48-36. The Lady Generals (2-1) received strong play from Sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='257989' first='Paige' last='Pouyat']. Pouyat finished with 17 points while on a handful of three-pointers here today. Paige plays the game with a good basketball IQ and understands on where to be on the floor at all times. Pouyat brings a pass first guard mentality to the floor. She's the ultimate team player and at the end of the night she will stuff the stat sheet.

Seniors [player_tooltip player_id='315513' first='Claire' last='Griffin'] and [player_tooltip player_id='185223' first='Jalyn' last='Almeida'] bring plenty of experience to this Lady Generals roster. Griffin really looks to play the game with a bit of a mean streak at times on the floor. Claire will play the game aggressive and very active at all times. Griffin finished with 13 points in the win over John Paul II.

Almeida a guard finished with 8 points in the win. Almeida is best suited as a catch-shoot or spot-up shooter on the wing for the Lady Generals.
